Next Friday marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York. This Sunday, we will pause together to remember the lives lost and the courage of the first responders who ran toward the danger — trusting that God was sovereign through it all, and remains so still.

We are honored to welcome a guest speaker who will share his testimony and firsthand account of what he witnessed.

Out of respect for the weight of these memories and for the families affected, we have chosen not to live stream this service. Thank you for understanding.

We are grateful for Lottie’s sacrificial work to take the Gospel to the nations. Today we are still crossing oceans because lostness is the world’s greatest problem.

🗓 On This Date 🗓 September 1, 1873—Lottie Moon sailed for China.

At 32 years old, she had been appointed by the Foreign Mission Board (now IMB) just weeks earlier. She sailed for Tengchow, China, and for the next 39 years she called China home—sharing the gospel, serving the people, and leaving a lasting legacy of missions.

Today—153 years later—her faithful witness continues to inspire through the ongoing work of IMB and WMU, all to the glory of God. 🌎✝️

This past Sunday, we wrapped up our Song of Solomon series in a powerful way as Chris and Jim Howard shared their testimony.

Through their honest story of 38 years of marriage, we heard a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness, grace, healing, and restoring power. We are so thankful for their willingness to share how God has worked in their lives and marriage.

What an encouragement to us to trust God with our relationships and believe that He is still writing our stories.

As a part of our Beach Road Serves week several Connect Groups packed “busy bags” for foster children in the Guardian Ad Litem program. Each bag contains activities, snacks and other items for children who spend many hours at the courthouse during proceedings related to their case.
We are grateful for the volunteers who advocate for these children and for the GAL program here in Brunswick County.
22 new bags were delivered today by Pastor Woody and David Fryar who attends BRC and serves as a guardian in the program.
