The very first class of McGivney Fellows has officially graduated—men who have spent the past two years growing in faith, sharpening their leadership, and preparing to serve with purpose.

The McGivney Fellowship is a leadership formation experience designed for faithful, engaged Knights of Columbus who demonstrate both spiritual depth and leadership potential. This year’s graduating class represents what happens when spiritual depth meets real-world leadership. And this is just the beginning.

Congratulations to Council 5521's Eric VanMeter, who was named the Outstanding District Deputy of the Year!

Eric served as District Marshal for the 4th Degree Color Corps for the meetings, dinner and masses!

Congratulations to Council 5521's Ryan Grill, who was elected as the State Secretary beginning July 1st, 2026!

Ryan served as State Treasurer who managed check-in as Convention Registration Chairman.

Congratulations to Council 17043’s Bob Zielinski who was elected as the State Deputy beginning July 1st, 2026!

Bob served as State Secretary who managed the overview of events as Convention Chairman.

GREENWOOD - Faithful Navigator Nevin attended the Indiana 4th Degree 2026 Biennial Meeting. Or Assembly was awarded the Civic Award for the 2023-2024 Fraternal Year.

Nevin, Eric and Aydan were delegates today from our council and Ryan was a dignitary from the State Council for the biennial meeting.

Eric and Ryan participated in Color Corps at the Mass and at the Exemplification of Patriotism ceremony.

SOUTH BEND - Knights of Columbus Assembly 242 Father J.A. Nieuwland Color Corps was present for the Mass with Bishop Rhoades today, held at the 2026 Rekindle the Fire Men’s Retreat at the Century Center for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.

Today Sir Knight Kenneth Jasinski was laid to rest.

Thank you to our Color Corps for being present as Honor Guard for the Viewing, Funeral and Cemetery at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in Terre Coupee and St Joseph Cemetery in South Bend.

Color Corps Commander Ryan, District Marshal Eric, Past Faithful Navigator George, Sir Knights Rob, Brian and Rick B served as Honor Guard.

MISHAWAKA - Congratulations to the students of Mishawaka Catholic School and parishioners of St Joseph Catholic Parish Mishawaka, St. Monica Catholic Church and St. Bavo who were Confirmed today through the Holy Spirit!

It was an honor being requested for Honor Guard today.

MISHAWAKA - This past Sunday, the St. Joseph Icon was dedicated inside the church of St Joseph Catholic Parish Mishawaka during the 9:15am Mass. Our Color Corps was present for Honor Guard and represented by Color Corps Commander Ryan Grill (State Treasurer), District Marshal Eric VanMeter (District Deputy 10) and Sir Knight Nathan Rhorer (District Deputy 11). Sir Knights Bob Zielinski (State Secretary) and Fr. Chris Lapp (Chaplain Council 1878) hung the icon on the back wall on the west side of the church (St. Joseph side). Also present for the occasion was Mishawaka Council 1878 Grand Knight Eoin Lyon.

The Indiana State Council Knights of Columbus donated 3 of the Icons to parishes in 3 dioceses. This Icon is 1 of 300 world wide and was blessed by Pope Francis in 2021.
