Due to a scheduling conflict, there will be no Sunday gathering at the Somerville Theatre tomorrow! 🎥🍿

Instead, we’re renting out a theater for a private screening of King of Kings at Apple Cinemas (Alewife)—a new animated film about the life of Jesus, seen through the eyes of a child.

🎟 Tickets are FREE — just RSVP!
🍔 After the movie, we’re grabbing lunch at Craft Food Halls.

Come for the film, the food, or both! We’d love to see you!

Don’t forget, this morning we will be moving out of the Crystal Ballroom, right next door, to the red theater in the bottom of the Somerville Theatre. Make sure you don’t use the typical Sunday morning entrance, but instead, use the main Theatre entrance right next door. From there, you will be directed downstairs to the red theater. We look forward to seeing you there!

Over the last 7 years, REUNION has been extremely blessed by Matt's leadership and care for the community.

Tomorrow is Matt's last Sunday before he leaves for his sabbatical.

We want to take some time to celebrate Matt for all he has done for REUNION. After our gathering tomorrow, we will have a special After Party in the Crystal Ballroom, as a way to thank Matt for his years of service to REUNION, and to send him and Jean off to enjoy sabbatical together.

We hope to see you tomorrow as our community joins together in sending them off to rest and retreat.

📣This week is Matt’s last week with us before he leaves for his sabbatical. Starting in October, Matt will be taking a four month sabbatical and we are excited for him to take this time.

Before he leaves, however, we also want to take some to celebrate Matt and Jean for all they have done for REUNION.

This Sunday, we will have a special After Party after our gathering, and have a chance to thank Matt for his years of service to REUNION, and send him and Jean off to enjoy sabbatical together.

In Matt’s absence, we will need help from all of the community to help continue to move the work and mission of REUNION forward. We believe the church is not one pastor or person, and all of us need to work together to create space for others to encounter God.

If you call REUNION home, we would love for you to consider one of the many ways you could help participate in making that mission a reality. Please join us on Sunday to hear about how you can step in while Matt is gone.

We hope to see you on Sunday!

This past year, REUNION has been growing our partnership with Miracle Mile Ministries. ‍Miracle Mile Ministries is headed by Lion of Judah and three other churches who are devoted to a sustained, deliberate, and strategic response to the area that they call ""Miracle Mile"" (a roughly 2-square-mile area in the South End of Boston often referred to as “Mass & Cass” or “Methadone Mile”).

Every Saturday morning, churches come together to feed and clothe anywhere from 60 to 100 guests each week, many who are trapped by their addictions and despair at the “Mass & Cass” tent encampments.

Volunteering and Serving at Miracle Mile is a way for us to be generous with our time and to shift our mindsets. There is something special about volunteering as a group and so we invite you to volunteer with us on Saturday, September 21st!

If you're interested in serving, DM us and we will send you the info!

Hope to see you on Saturday!

We can’t believe it’s been a week since the retreat! 🌟 We had an amazing weekend at our very first REUNION Retreat! We played games, competed in relay races, enjoyed s’mores, worshipped, reflected, and were inspired by our speaker, Alex Mayfield.

The theme was the Holy Spirit 🔥🕊️, weaving us together and uniting us with God and each other. The Spirit orients us towards others and Jesus, binding us into a new kind of community and transforming us into the image of Christ.

We essentially learned that, the Christian life and journey is about real, deep, world-shaking transformation. 🌍✨

Thank you to everyone who joined and created such a beautiful community. Also shoutout to for hosting us in their beautiful space. For you who can’t make it, we hope to see you next year 👋🏼

This Mother’s Day, we want to celebrate the ways that Motherhood reflects your goodness & character : their model of love and selflessness, patient and grace.

Today, we walk with you. We know that mothering is not for the faint of heart and we are thankful for the warriors and heroes in our midst. Today we wish to honor all mothers and all the women in our community.

Happy Mother’s Day!

This Sunday, we will not gather at the Somerville Theater because they host their Independent Film Festival. So, instead of our normal gathering, we are hosting a cookout as an opportunity for our community to connect.

We’re going to meet at The Common at Cambridge Crossing at 10:30 AM, which is right where the Lechmere green line stop is. There’s a nice park within the area with grills and nice are for all of us to hang out.

We’ll have burgers, hot dogs, also vegan options 👌🏼 Bring some layers for the weather and we look forward to see you tomorrow! 👋🏼

We are canceling tomorrow morning's gathering due to the forecast and Somerville declaring a snow emergency. Stay safe everyone!

We do have something prepared while we stay at home. As we come into the new year, we come with expectations and hopes. We have a deep desire for this year to be different than last. However, life moves so fast we can easily lose sight of what really matters.

Sometimes God gifts us a time to pause and we believe this snow storm is an opportunity for us to be still.

Join us as we prepared a guide with prompts to help us reflect on 2023 and what God may have for us in 2024. We also have a short video where Nathan explains the importance of stillness and Bailey leads us in a couple of songs to prepare our hearts! Links below!

Our Story

REUNION is a non-denominational church community in your neighborhood that functions more like a family — a family with some members who feel a deep connection with God and some who don’t feel a connection yet at all. We are a family who gathers to celebrate, pray, learn, and, for some, to just enjoy the conversation and friendship. Together we seek to explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ and help others do the same. We are a people who believe that no matter what we’ve done or where we’ve been, God’s grace is available through Jesus.

We meet at 10:30AM every Sunday in Quincy, Somerville, and the South End of Boston. Our Sunday gathering is a little over an hour. We have a live band and it tends to be loud. Music, scripture, story, humor are all part of how we prepare ourselves and respond to what God wants us to hear. We will have a teaching from scripture intended to be both conversational and challenging and it always ends with Jesus. We also take communion and give of our tithes and offerings to support God’s work through REUNION. Families are welcome too! We have kids programming at all of our locations. Our hope is that our gatherings are casual, relational, simple, and meaningful for everyone. Should you decide to visit for the first time or the 100th time, you would be welcome.
