Sunday Recap 📸

What a great day together as a church family!

This Sunday was Move Up Sunday in our Kids Ministry- We recognized our 5th graders as they prepare to transition into Youth Ministry. We're grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our children from birth through 5th grade, helping them grow in their knowledge and love of Christ. Plus some of our youth students led us in worship!

We also spent time in 1 Timothy 4, where we were reminded to stand firm in God's truth and "train yourself for godliness" (v. 7). In a world filled with competing voices, God's Word remains our foundation.

Thankful for a day of worship, fellowship, encouragement, and growing together in Christ. We can't wait to do it again next Sunday!

Do you intentionally make space for Sabbath… or are you constantly making bricks for Pharaoh?

God created the world with rhythm and balance — day & night, seasons, tides, rest & work. But somehow we’ve become more exhausted, anxious, distracted, and burned out than ever before.

Maybe the answer isn’t doing more.
Maybe it’s stopping.

Sabbath is not laziness.
It’s trust.
It’s sacred, set apart time to rest in the presence of God and remember:
You are not a machine.
You are not a slave.
God is enough.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy…” — Exodus 20:8

Take the time.
Turn down the noise.
Slow down.
Rest.
Worship.

Today we pause to remember the fallen heroes whose sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are forever grateful for their courage, their selflessness, and the families who continue to carry their memory forward. 🇺🇸

Today’s message reminded us that transformation is a process.
We all have areas where God is still working on us, but through humility, obedience, and perseverance, He changes us from glory to glory. ✨

Naaman almost missed his miracle because of pride, but healing came when he humbled himself and obeyed God — even in the small things.

Don’t stop at six.
Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep dipping.
God is still transforming lives. 🙌

“The wrong yoke will keep pulling you left and right. The yoke of Christ leads to peace, purpose, and rest.”

God’s Word calls us to stay focused, to ponder the path of our feet, and not swerve to the left or right (Proverbs 4:25–27). Who or what you’re attached to matters—because what you’re yoked to will shape where your life goes.

The invitation is simple: don’t be pulled in every direction by the world. Stay yoked to Christ, and walk in peace, purpose, and rest.

Who — or what — are you yoked to?

The voices, people, and influences we attach ourselves to will shape the direction of our lives. In a world full of distractions, God calls us to stay focused, walk the straight path, and be yoked to Christ above everything else.
“Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.” — Proverbs 4:27
