We are praising God for the decisions that Mikey Comancho, MarryEllen Kirbey and Antonio Ebel made for Jesus Christ this last Sunday through baptism! They have died to their sin, buried their old selves, and have been raised by God through faith in Jesus to walk in the newness of life because of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17 states, "If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old is gone, the new is here!"

This Sunday, we’re tackling the toughest question of our series: Why does God allow suffering? Suffering is part of life, and we want to acknowledge the hurt that all of us have felt while holding onto the hope that God gives us. Sometimes we want an answer. Sometimes we just need a God who will be with us in our pain. The good news is that in Jesus, we find both. If you’ve ever wondered where God is when life hurts, we’d love for you to join us.
