Great encouragement for us all…
This one is for the pastor of the church nobody's heard of.
The one who preaches every Sunday to 40 people in a town of 300. The one who hasn't seen a baptism in two years but keeps showing up. The one who drives an hour each way to lead a Bible study for six elderly saints.
The volunteer who sets up chairs before anyone arrives and folds them after everyone leaves.
The missionary in an unplowed field where the ground is hard and the harvest feels far away.
Hear this today —
"A great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb." — Revelation 7:9 (CSB)
Your congregation may be small. Your audience may be quiet. Your name may never trend anywhere.
But you are not serving a small kingdom.
You are part of something so wide, so long, so high, so deep — that eternity itself cannot contain it.
"...to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." — Ephesians 3:19 (CSB)
Don't you dare measure your faithfulness by applause.
