Am I learning how to use my Bible?

The way to become complete for the Master’s service is to be well soaked in the Bible; some of us only exploit certain passages.

Our Lord wants to give us continuous instruction out of His word; continuous instruction turns hearers into disciples.

Just wanted to share the platform I am using in keeping my relationship with my creator and savior strong and it allows me to go deeper and stay on track. I always start with prayer as I do with everything I encounter. My purpose is to Glorify God and point others to Him.

“When the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?” We all have faith in good principles, in good management, in good common sense, but who amongst us has faith in Jesus Christ? Physical courage is grand, moral courage is grander, but the man who trusts Jesus Christ in the face of the terrific problems of life is worth a whole crowd of heroes.

The place for the comforter is not that of one who preaches, but of the comrade who says nothing, but prays to God about the matter. The biggest thing you can do for those who are suffering is not to talk platitudes, not to ask questions, but to get into contact with God, and the “greater works” will be done by prayer.

It is impossible to read too much, but always keep before you why you read. Remember that “the need to receive, recognize, and rely on the Holy Spirit” is before all else.

It is not what a man does that is of final importance, but what he is in what he does. The atmosphere produced by a man, much more than his activities, has the lasting influence.
