Three Sevier County churches, Oak City Baptist Church, Seymour First Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church are working together for Christ’s kingdom by partnering to assist Still Waters Baptist Church as they launch on Sunday, October 11 at the former Grace Baptist property. Tomorrow morning at Shiloh, Pastor Glenn Metts will preach while Pastor Joel Tilson and the Still Waters core group join us. Pastor Joel will share the story behind this new church plant. Everyone is warmly invited to morning worship at 11am. Come meet Pastor Joel, encourage this new work, and celebrate what God is doing when churches set aside territorial thinking to advance the Great Commission together!

It's so thrilling that our second official post from Still Waters be our first baptism. Our friend Bill, who has been attending our church since before we closed as Grace Baptist, recently professed his faith in Christ as his Lord and Savior. Bill will always be the first baptism of our new church. We pray many more to come. OFFICIAL LAUNCH DATE< OCTOBER 11TH!

Still Waters Baptist Church is being planted as a place where people can slow down, encounter the hope of Jesus and find meaningful community.

Our name comes from the promise of Psalm 23 and the peace we find when we follow the Good Shepherd.
