Historic Senoia Bicycle Tour Bonnie Bobbitt, tour leader, "retired" after the Spring 2015 tour. Historic Senoia Bicycle Tour - Enjoy photos of past tours! How did Baggarly Way get its name?

The Historic Senoia Bicycle Tour provided a unique, fun experience for bicyclists twice a year from 2010 to 2015, also raising funds for the Senoia Area Historical Society. The following is information describing the last tour, held in May 2015. Start: Senoia Area Historical Society Museum, 6 Couch Street, Senoia, GA. Join in this fun, easy tour of charming Senoia, for bicyclists of all ages and

abilities! View the varied architecture, hear tales of residents past and present and historical tidbits of the National Historical District homes, century-old churches, and more. Learn of sites where numerous films and TV episodes have been shot, including Fried Green Tomatoes, The Fighting Temptations, and Broken Bridges. We offer this tour in the spring and fall, and each tour includes different points of interest.... The theme for our Spring Tour will be "Senoia's Street Names and Families." Barnes Street? Who were these people? So if you liked what you've experienced in the past, join us for more fun! THE TOUR WILL BE RESTRICTED TO 20 RIDERS. IT WILL INCLUDE A NUMBER OF HOMES THAT HAVEN'T BEEN SHOWN ON THE TOUR FOR QUITE SOME TIME, SO DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!! The tour starts and ends at the Senoia Area Historical Society Museum, where riders enjoy a brief visual presentation unique to the tour before starting, and afterward, light refreshments, a chance to win a door prize, and an enjoyable walk through time. Afterward, complete your Senoia experience with the Buggy Shop Museum, Senoia's restaurants, and some great shopping! Please note that this is NOT a long distance tour--

Recommended donations for the bicycle tour are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 13. All proceeds benefit the Senoia Area Historical Society. Donations are tax deductible. Helmets required. Due to frequent stops, walkable cycling shoes are recommended for the tour. Riders looking for a longer ride may choose a self-supporting 25, 40 or 50-mile Senoia Southsider route afterwards (cue sheets available). Here's what people have said about the Bicycle Tour of Senoia:

"I can't believe how much more I saw of Senoia on a bike than driving in a car. We went straight to [the donor store] and bought goat soap. A friend won it last year and loved it!...Thanks again." "The reception last year and this year were wonderful. Everyone seems to enjoy and appreciate the door prizes from the local establishments." "The people in Senoia are so friendly and the essence of Southern hospitality." "I thought the refreshments and door prizes were awesome!"
