Ya'll Shady Grove Baptist members (active & inactive), Burnsville/Jones Community folks! Come on and visit us as we share some Hobo Stew and fun activities on Oct. 24th!!! Anytime from 2-5 pm so you aren't out after dark and won't miss any football games 😀
Gonna have a great time and bob for apples and search scripture for clues to our scavenger hunt...and get ready to toss eggs! Bubba will be managing the cart ride. Ann & Pam & Sue & Church ladies will keep the stew hot and there will be plenty of sweet tea and goodies for the kids!
Bring something savory or sweet for the snack table to share with everyone but mostly bring yourselves!

To our Shady Grove Baptist teachers, our choir, our admin staff, our piano player, our music director, our drum & guitar player, our fellowship hall committee, our pulpit committee, our faithful, our food bank supporters and workers, our attendees, our security staff…so, so many that support our church and help keep the doors open and the plywood off our windows.
Thank you. We wish to share sincere gratitude for the hard work, devotion and leadership you have shown and continue to show to our congregation. As we reflect on the past years and the so many that are now in heaven, I am reminded that our church would not be able to fulfill our mission and calling without the service of people like all of you still on earth. I cannot thank ya’ll enough for the support and leadership you have shown within and to our congregation.
It is a pleasure to serve as a member of this congregation. May God continue to bless all of us and our families. May God continue to lead us as we fight against satan and his desire to seal our doors and board up the windows. Thank you for being the hands and feet of our community. Your faithfulness goes further than you know. The time you give and the care you show truly matter, and we are so grateful for your service. Don’t give up! Don’t give in!

Lord, tomorrow is Sunday. Even now send your mighty power and touch hearts of men and women to attend church where Your Name is exalted and salvation is proclaimed.
Lord, for ALL the workers struggling and discouraged, set their souls on fire and prepare their hearts for a great blessing.
And Lord, thank you, thank you for loving us.

Shady Grove Baptist Church is the church of the week! I (JB) was privileged to sing in the choir yesterday in support of them!
We celebrated Pastor John Barfoot's last Sunday as he served for 6 years! PRAY for his next assignment AND pray for the Pastor to come alongside of this church family. Was blessed by Samantha McCraw's own song for the Special music today on electric guitar!

Join them on Sundays: 9:45am for Sunday School and 11am for Worship; Wednesdays: 6pm Bible study for Adults & Children & Youth.
