While the Majlis is currently on a Summer Break, we will resume classes this Sunday, June 28th with a special program on Sayyidna Husayn in OC during the evening, and our regular San Diego class Sunday morning.

We are also excited to announce that starting Tuesday June 30, our next AIM seminary class begins. In this course, Shaykh Jamaal Diwan will guide students through Imam al-Ghazali’s discussion of The Rights of Brotherhood from the Ihyāʾ ʿUlūm al-Dīn. Starting Monday July 6, we are also offering a new Arabic intensive. Under the guidance of Ustadh Omar (Peter Omar Kovacik), this summer intensive is designed to help students build a foundational understanding of the Arabic used throughout ṣalāh. Alhamdulillah, the first cohort of our Imam al-Dardir Seminary students completed Riyad Al-Salihin today! Shaykh Jamaal reminded students of the importance of continuing to return to the words of the Prophet ﷺ.

You won’t want to miss Shaykh Fouad’s Introduction to Logic workshop, this Sunday!

Shaykh Fouad is The Majlis’ Theology Specialist and a faculty member with Sabeel Community’s Dar al-Rayyan, a Traditional Global Seminary program.

In this special course on Sunday 6/7, Shaykh Fouad will introduce students to the foundations of logic as part of the Anas Ibn Malik Community Servants Program. All our welcome, no previous learning in logic needed.
