Today is Pentecost!
The birthday of the Church!

We saw lots of folks wearing red today to celebrate the day of Pentecost!

And we had 50 in worship today! Yeah!

And, today we also celebrated the retirement of our beloved Associate Minister, Rev Dr Tom Tucker!
After seven years of service to TLCC & the community, Tom is resigning. He will be missed. Well done, Good & Faithful Servant!

Exciting day at TLCC today as we celebrated Graduation Day as well as Ascension Sunday!

Next week—-Pentecost Sunday— Birthday of the church!
Wear Red!
Bring a birthday gift for the church—a ream of paper—self adhesive letter envelopes—a book of stamps—a box of get well cards—or anything you think the church could use!

And, yes, we will have cupcakes!

This Sunday is Mothers’ Day!
So, come celebrate it with us in worship at TLCC at 11 am, both in person or live streaming!

You might not be a mom—- but you might have had a mom or grandmother who taught you accountability, sacrifice and the value of hard work! Or maybe it was a supportive friend or peer, mentor or inspiring teacher or simply someone who believed in you or made a difference in your life!

Life at TLCC this weekend!
Our women met and celebrated on Saturday with a spring luncheon—- good time!!

And Sunday—worshipping our risen Lord & Savior in Eastertide!

And—-yeah—our new Choir Director David D. began his music ministry with us!

And Andy C on the violin 🎻 for special music!

And Pastor Madella back in the pulpit—after recovering from surgery! ( still on light duty!)

JOIN US FOR HOLY WEEK!

As we enter this most sacred week of the Christian faith, we invite you to join our church family for worship, prayer and celebration.

Our Holy week begins with MAUNDY THURSDAY WORSHIP on April 2nd at 7 pm, as we gather to remember the last supper.

On GOOD FRIDAY, April 3rd, we will hold a Prayer Vigil from 12 pm to 8 pm. All are welcome to stop in at any time throughout the day to pray, reflect, and sit in the presence of God during this solemn and holy time.

On Saturday morning, April 4th, bring the whole family out to Taylor Lake Village Park at 500 Kirby Rd for the COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT at 10 am! Don't forget you Easter basket!

On EASTER SUNDAY, April 5th, celebrate the resurrection of Christ with us! We begin at 7 am with our SUNRISE SERVICE, followed by a FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST at 8 am in the Fellowship Hall.
EASTER WORSHIP will be held at 11 am, and we would love to see you there.
