What a great day at Taylor Lake Christian Church today!!

We had blessing after blessing—blessing our students and school personnel headed back to school for the new school year!

An extra blessing of having our chancel choir back after being on vacation!

And, then, after worship, a picnic lunch and ice cream sundaes!

Big day at TLCC this Sunday, August 9th!
We will have a power point of our Children’s One Day Mission Trip this past Monday, along with Blessing of the Backpacks and a picnic lunch after worship with ice cream sundaes!

All this… plus our choir will be presenting special music in worship! And Pastor Rev Dr Darren Phelps will be with us in worship too!! All great!

It’s going to be a super Sunday Sundae special day!

It was a great Sunday worship last week when our children, youth and adult leaders of VBS led worship! It was amazing!

This Sunday our choir is back from vacation and we will begin a sermon series on Serving Others!

It’s been a great week at VBS ( Vacation Bible School) at TLCC ( Taylor Lake Christian Church)!

Come join us for worship at 11 am tomorrow, Sunday when our children, youth & VBS volunteers lead us in worship!

It’s Vacation Bible School time at Taylor Lake Christian Church— Sunday through Thursday evening!

The VBS Team has been hard at work today decorating and turning TLCC into a Tropical Trek experience!

Children ages 3 years (potty trained please) through fifth grade. You can still register on line at our website..or even in person Sunday night at 5:30 pm at the church!

Our evening offering will be going towards the turtle research program in Galveston —-Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research

It all begins Sunday evening— spaghetti supper served from 5:45 pm to 6:15 pm for everyone!
And there is an adult VBS class from 7 pm to 8 pm in person or via zoom!

Come join us on our tropical trek at VBS!

What a week we have had at TlCC!

It all started last Saturday with our home swim meet as we sponsor the Timber Cove Dolphins (& the El Lago Dorados)!

Sunday after worship our Outreach Ministry Team met to help us prepare our June challenge of collecting 50 jars of peanut butter for ICM!

Then Sunday was our Camp Commissioning in worship! We have 18 youth & adults involved in camp this summer! Yeah!

Sunday evening we gathered with our friends from Seabrook Ministry Alliance for fellowship & worship at Saltwater Revival Pirate Church for a “Salt & Light” Celebration!

Monday began our Mission of H. O. P. E. ( Helping Other People Everywhere) — we went to Parsons House, the Houston Food Bank, Interfaith Caring Ministries to be out and about being helping hands and giving hope to others.
And , we still had time to do some things for the church too!

Today is Pentecost!
The birthday of the Church!

We saw lots of folks wearing red today to celebrate the day of Pentecost!

And we had 50 in worship today! Yeah!

And, today we also celebrated the retirement of our beloved Associate Minister, Rev Dr Tom Tucker!
After seven years of service to TLCC & the community, Tom is resigning. He will be missed. Well done, Good & Faithful Servant!

Bring a birthday gift for the church—a ream of paper—self adhesive letter envelopes—a book of stamps—a box of get well cards—or anything you think the church could use!
