Please be in prayer for Pastor Green
This past Sunday, our pastor Terry Green preached on "Courage Is Required,” how fears hold us back in our walk with Christ, and we need courage for the spiritual battles we face daily. Right now, our pastor has a new battle that requires us to have courage and faith.
On Wednesday morning, while walking across a marked crosswalk, Pastor was hit by a truck who failed to stop, and he was thrown 30 feet. (Edited to add: This was not a hit-and-run.) He was flown to a hospital in Phoenix, where he's been ever since. He's got multiple injuries, contusions, and three spine fractures, but we see God's miraculous hand working through all the prayers for him! His progress is astounding his care team and physical therapists.
Many of you have asked how you can help, and right now, the best way to help is pray! Please DO NOT contact Pastor - he really needs the rest. Meagan will keep everyone updated. And though Pastor and Kathy won't be able to be there, we'll still have our services Sunday to worship the Lord together as a church family, so we hope to see you there!
Keep praying for one another; we know that several of you have your own challenges right now, and we are praying for you. ❤️
