So many people have asked how everything worked out with our Yukon, so I wanted to share.
First, my wonderful mom let us borrow her van (which Jeremy has lovingly named Ole Nadine 🤣). Because of my family’s generosity, we were able to keep traveling from assignment to assignment while the Yukon was being worked on. God made a way.
Jeremy and I had been looking for a larger vehicle for quite a while, knowing we’d need the extra room before baby Judah Reign arrives in October. We did what most people do we had faith, but if I’m honest, there were moments of quiet stress too.
One day in June, I looked at Jeremy and said, “I don’t know how, and I don’t know when, but I believe God is going to do it before this baby gets here.” At that point, I couldn’t carry the worry anymore.
If evangelism has taught us anything, it’s this: God always makes a way. Even when things seem impossible. Even when nothing makes sense. He has always taken care of His people, and He’s never failed us.
During one of our month-long traveling to different revivals, the Lord did what only He can do.
While Jeremy was preaching on a Friday night, the Lord spoke to someone who wishes to remain anonymous and laid it on their heart to buy our family a new vehicle. We had absolutely no idea this was happening.
I don’t even know how to describe the feeling.
It wasn’t just a vehicle we needed it was everything our family needed.
And here’s what amazed me most.. God didn’t just meet our need. He cared about the details.
The color. The entertainment system for the kids while we travel thousands of miles. The heated leather seats. The built in shades to help shield Harmony from the sun because of her albinism. Detail after detail reminded us that our Heavenly Father isn’t distant. He is personal.
If you don’t believe God cares about the little things, let me lovingly tell you that He absolutely does.
We are incredibly thankful for every single person who sowed into helping repair the Yukon, which is still being worked on. We are thankful for every prayer, every encouraging word, and every declaration of faith spoken over our family.
Some people looked at our situation and thought it was a sign to stop.
But God said, “I’m making a way where there seems to be no way.”
He has been faithful through every season, and He continues to prove that He knows exactly what His children need.
Our family will never forget what God has done, and we’ll never stop giving Him the glory.
