"To forgive another person from the heart is an act of liberation. As long as we do not forgive those who have wounded us, we carry the with us or worse, pull them as a heavy load"
This is one of those acts that we are called to do that we find the hardest. If you think about it, it is a part of the Our Father - "as we forgive those who trespass against us" so it must have been one of the important commands Jesus gave us. Yet, who doesn't have someone in their life they need to forgive? Why is it so hard for us? This is when we come up with every "but" we can (but they hurt me, but they are not sorry, but they.....you get it). Put the buts aside and start the process with praying for that person. Every day. Forgiveness lets us release the past that wears us down. It frees us from those chains. Start small today by praying for someone who needs your forgiveness and set yourself free. what is that saying...."life is too short". Be free....

We truly believe that we have control in this life. And yet, there is very little we can control. It is only when you surrender yourself to God's will, have faith in it and trust that it is all for our good that you can feel freedom and peace. It is in the surrender that we take flight. It is in the surrender that we find true peace. It is in the surrender that we accept both sides of the coin in suffering and peace. Not an easy task for us that crave control but certainly one that pays back in this beautiful thing called "peace". Won't you try it? Let go.....Let God. Surrender......and be free

We are a resurrection people. what does that mean? It means we know that the crucifixion - pain and suffering - is a part of life. BUT, and here's the big BUT - the resurrection always follows the crucifixion. It is our hope. It is the reason we believe In Him otherwise he would have just been another great prophet crucified. But he rose He resurrected. And we shall too. So no matter the pain and suffering you experience in your life - hold onto the resurrection as your hope that one day, you will rise from that pain. Because we believe in both the crucifixion and the resurrection There is not one without the other. And how do we live into that? Small acts of faith every day. Keep loving your neighbor. Keep giving to others. Keep praying. It is our faith that saves us....

Reconciliation is not simply a return to where we were before but a new beginning rooted in God's mercy - Henri Nouwen

Reconciliation is a profound spiritual process of restoring broken relationships with God and the community, primarily achieved through repentance, forgiveness, and justice. It's more about resolving a conflict vs. easing your guilt. It's a chance to "re-center" our lives back pointing to God. So think about what it is within that you need to reconcile with God. Let it go to Him. Give it up. And then accept God's mercy in return. And allow this to renew you. It's a beautiful thing if you allow it. We all have something. Its the humanity within us. Let it go!! And let the mercy of God shower you in love!!
