The Stake was notified this week of an opportunity to host in our Stake Center a fireside on the theme, “Love like Jesus,” featuring Georgette Lalaus of France and singer Emma Nissen. The focus of the fireside will begin at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening at 49 Tanner Lane in Saratoga Springs.

The focus of the fireside will be on service, love, and the Savior. We think adults and youth who can make it will be blessed and uplifted by the experience.

TEMPLE CLEANING
The Saratoga Springs Stake has been assigned to clean the Saratoga Spring Temple in December of 2023. The sign-up link is below. This assignment is inside the Temple so volunteers need to be endowed and dress in Sunday dress and scan their recommends. White clothing will be provided for the cleaning.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are excited that the Saratoga Springs Temple will soon be open and available to ordinance work later this summer. We hope you will take the opportunity of going through this beautiful temple multiple times during the open house with your family and friends. It is such a blessing to have a House of the Lord in our community.

As part of this wonderful opportunity, the stake is undertaking an exciting project. We are writing a history of the Saratoga Springs temple. As part of this project, we are collecting personal stories and spiritual experiences from members of the stake as it relates to the Saratoga Springs temple. These stories will be part of a history book about the Saratoga Springs temple that will be available to members of the stake by the end of the year. The book will also be submitted to church headquarters as part of our stake history.

We are looking for your personal and family stories and experiences in regards to the following:

What brought you/your family to Saratoga Springs
Experiences around hearing temple announcement
Experiences with temple open house
Experiences with temple dedication
