In seeking to better understand who we are as a people there is no greater subject to attend to than understanding our Triune God as creator and covenant Lord. The doctrine of the Trinity is not an isolated theological category. What we say about God and what we believe about his nature have ramifications for all other aspects of life and theology as well. In fact, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

The doctrine of the Trinity is one of these truths and it is foundational to our faith.
