David and Brooke Gibson

David and Brooke Gibson Blessed to live in beautiful Sarasota, parents of four children, founding pastors and senior leaders So how do we "go"? It may offend you from time to time.

We’re on assignment to awaken the people of God to The Life we now live by. Our great desire is to see the Church set free and living in the greater reality that many have not began to walk in. We have experienced first hand the lies, spirits, and our soul/body that keep the Church bound from receiving the more Father has for us. It's now our heart to see them exposed and destroyed so that the bod

y of Christ can move forward into all that the Father has for His Church. As Pastors for nearly 17 years, we lived under these lies that kept us bound and we want to share how we have been set free. How we've come to know and believe Him greater and what's so clear in scripture. Now, we can see how man-made traditions and doctrines of man have infiltrated the Church and left us desensitized to The Life. Which in turn has left the Church fearful, powerless, and ineffective. We have had enough of allowing these spirits, lies, and habits to run rampant within the Church, and the time is now to expose and destroy them by releasing the Kingdom! We have never felt more passionate for the truth of the Kingdom Gospel to set the Church free so we can truly walk in the greater measure Father is releasing to His children. This isn't just something we're passionate about because we see and know the problems, but because this is our story and we are walking this out. Father says, "it's time to use your story to help others walk in the freedom and truth that you have come to know". After 17 years of ministry, it wasn't until three years ago that we had an encounter with God and began to step into the unknown. Three years ago He revealed this life-changing revelation, and three years of growing in intimacy, growing in maturity, and growing in greater revelation (and still growing) He has said, “yes it's time to go”! For now it's through this platform as well as the position He's given us at Church of Motion. However, we are open to wherever He wants to send us. If you are moved by what Father has done in our lives and want us to share with your Church, your leadership team, or just you, we are available and willing! One on one is the best way to explain what Father has shown us.
____________________________________________________________

For Pastors of a church who are truly walking this out; we know the trials, the pain, and the struggles that it takes to move into the more that Father wants for His children. It has not been easy, it certainly hasn't been pretty, and it definitely was not perfect. The attacks were and still are at times overwhelming, but all of it has been worth it to see Him do what only He could do in and through us. As well as seeing it caught by those we have the honor of Pastoring. From leading a church that struggled to truly find it's identity. A church who wasn't experiencing the power of the Gospel, and not seeing the things we read in print in our everyday lives. To now leading a church who is sure in who they are, sure in what they are here to do and release, and truly living by The Life who gives us the power to live in the Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. We couldn't be more passionate to see the Church as a whole walk in the same!

WARNING:

We will share things that will go against a lot of the traditions and doctrines of man. We will expose darkness. We don’t want to see the Church stay children in the faith. Paul described “children” in the faith as people who are “tossed to and fro with every new wind of doctrine, deceitful plotting of the devil, and trickery of men” (Ephesians 4:14). Many believers not only don’t know how to stand in the victory over all darkness that they already have; many don’t even know they’re being deceived. In fact, the role of leadership in the Church, is to “speak the truth in love” so that we will come to the “measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13,15). So we encourage you, when something may offend you/make you uncomfortable, or go against what you’ve always believed; ask Holy Spirit what He thinks about this. Ask the Father to father you through these things. It’s all about relationship with God, hearing His voice, and following His leading. We too are willing to meet and talk through these things. Our heart is that we would move forward into all God has for us, and we know how challenging that is. With that said, this is a page where we share what we believe God is telling us to share. We do not promise to get back to comments (positive or negative). As a family of 6, we limit our time on social media, but use it as a platform to proclaim the gospel and help people move forward into all God desires for their life. If you want to meet with us in person, please send us a message and we will try to get back to you in a timely manner. Blessings, brothers and sisters!

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
- Proverbs 9:10 (NKJV)

This verse says the "fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom". Notice it doesn't say "to fear is using wisdom". We have to be careful because fear will often masquerade as wisdom in the Church. Believers will fear things of the domain of darkness, yet rationalize their fear as "using wisdom". This has been exposed in the Church over the last couple years. We are to fear the Lord, which will result in a fearlessness when it comes to any attack from the domain of darkness. Our confidence is in the life of Christ in us and His Kingom, not the things of the domain of darkness.

We all want to see what we read, what we preach, and what we declare operational in our life, don’t we? The most frustrating thing about our faith can be when what we know theoretically isn’t what we see operational in our lives. What if the reason we don’t see what we know operational is rooted in the way we approach Father, His will, and His ways? What if we’re approaching Kingdom life with an outside-in (Old Testament or old covenant) mentality, rather than an inside-out (New Testament or new covenant) mentality? And what if this all begins with understanding and believing where Jesus is now, and living by His life? Rather than awaiting for our time in Heaven, trying to earn or achieve holiness, approaching God in steps and stages, or becoming Christ-like? What if it’s better when we truly accept the better covenant in every way?

We have created a diagram to show the difference between Old Testament living (we call it outside-in living) Vs New Testament living (inside-out living). These are things Father has revealed to us through His word over many years of prayer. After asking and believing Him to grant us a “Spirit of wisdom and revelation through the knowledge of Him”. It hasn’t been easy having to overcome and lay down our old mindsets, habits, and understanding, but it has led to greater simplicity, greater confidence, and greater freedom in Christ. May you ask Father to also grant you the ability to see what He’s revealing to His Church in this hour. We know it takes God to reveal God to man. That’s why our prayer is that this releases faith to open up to the greater Father has for His children.

Have you ever waited in line at a sporting event or amusement park for your tickets that you’ve already purchased, and when you get to the front they tell you, “oh your line to get in is over there”? When you look over at the line you were supposed to be in, you realize you’ve waisted about an hour of time because you were in the wrong line.

I didn’t realize that I was, in a sense, in the wrong line for most of my Christian life. My prayers looked a lot like David’s prayer here, under the Old Testament. I saw myself as distant from God’s presence and heart when I’d do wrong, and near when I’d do right. I also saw myself as just a hot mess who would never get it right and always be stuck in my ways. I’d cry out, “Father, change me”, “Father, make me whole”, “change my heart”, “give me a steadfast Spirit”, “draw me close”, etc. It wasn’t until Father said to me, “I can’t do again for you what I’ve already done” that I realized I was standing mentally in the wrong line. Over the years the Father began to show me that we as a church got in the habit of asking God to do in us what He’s already accomplished through Jesus, which has kept the Church from being effective. This was true in my life. However, as David declares here, what he could do if he had what we do under the new covenant; a clean heart, a steadfast spirit, and Father’s presence, is now our reality. When we grow to know this has been accomplished, that the cry of David’s heart is now our born-again reality, we no longer have to or want to sing this or pray this, because it’s already been accomplished in us. Think about it, Jesus can’t do again what He’s already done for you. So today and everyday instead of crying out for a clean heart, or renewed steadfast spirit, or His presence. Thank Him that it’s already done, and ask Him to reveal this reality to you! To make it more real and evident to you. As he does this through an intimate relationship, you will do as David desired “I will teach wrongdoers Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You…. my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness…. my mouth may declare Your praise.”

May this encourage you that there’s no more need to cry out to be what Father has already declared you to be through Jesus. It’s now time to learn to walk in your new born again reality! Get out of the purchase ticket line, and run over to will call. Your tickets have already been purchased.

What if, “pick up your cross” or “die to yourself” is actually a call to live? Not just to live, but to live abundantly!...

What if, “pick up your cross” or “die to yourself” is actually a call to live? Not just to live, but to live abundantly! What if it’s a call to live by the life of another; the resurrected life of Jesus. What if it’s actually not as we see it in the Church as a call to suffer until you go home or a call to die to the flesh so that one day we will be like Jesus? What if it’s a call to daily and in all things, choose His mind, will, and emotions over our own? As born-again Christians scripture says we “are no longer in the flesh, but in the Spirit”(Rom8:9). This is truth whether or not we want to believe it or choose to see it. The word also says, “it’s no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me”. Could it be that we’ve missed what Jesus was saying because we didn’t account for the fact that the resurrection would bring new meaning to this call to “pick up your cross”. That the Holy Spirit through Paul was revealing to us this new reality- it’s now Christ who lives in and through me?

Have you seen the meme going around that says, “you say you’d die for your kids, but would you live for them”? Meaning would you be present, available, help in time of need, and cheer them on so they can fly one day? Would you daily choose to parent them and guide them in love?

In the church there is a call to not only do this for our children but also for children in the faith. We are not called to just await our time to go to Heaven but to grow unto maturity and disciple disciples. John speaks of this in 1 John 2, there will be little children, young men, and fathers in the faith. In other words, we are all called to grow and to kingdom leadership- to live by His extravagant life so that others may see and live by it also. You don’t have to be in the office of the five-fold ministry to do that, this is the call on every Christian’s life! In practicing to live by His extravagant life we mature and become spiritual parents to those who are new to the faith and even those head strong teenagers 😂😂

So would you consider this, similar to the meme I referred to, I know you say you’d die for Christ, but would you live by the life of King Jesus so that others may also one day?

Our thoughts on the significance of the last supper

Maunday Thursday

The Last Supper - perhaps more significant than we may think.

While they were eating, He took some bread, and after a blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, “This is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many (mark 14:22-24)

It actually points me back to the garden. Makes me think, what if Jesus is pointing us to the reality that He would become the fulfillment of Father’s original plan from the beginning?

Remember Jesus referred to himself as the bread of Life: “For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always." Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life.”(Jn 6:33-35)

He also said, ”Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them”.(Jn 6:56)

Is Jesus revealing to the disciples the incredible reality that He would soon be inside of us? Not just Jesus, but the Godhead. Not seen as just a mystical thought, but literally the life of God in every born-again Christian? Incarnate God; God in the flesh.

Was Jesus pointing us back to Father’s original plan? That soon He would do what it took to make this a reality for all of those who say yes to Him?

In the beginning there were two trees mentioned in scripture. The tree of knowledge of good and evil, which we all know well. As well as, the tree of life.

Was the tree of life - Jesus? Was Father’s plan from the beginning that instead of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve would have eaten from the tree of life? If so, was Father’s plan incarnate God? God in the flesh? Was Jesus going to become the sacrifice that would make a way for Father’s ultimate plan? Was Jesus pointing us to this reality by taking what we call communion with the disciples before His death and resurrection?

If so, then we’re looking at the revealing of the most incredible reality. Almost too good to be true. This means that when Jesus said, “we would do what He did and even greater”, that He was saying what He did as fully God and fully man would too be our possibility. How? Because His life in now in us.

This might take some pondering, it may seem a little too radical to believe. But is it truth? I think so.

What if our new life is about us-ness(God and I together) and not about our sin?

We have been forgiven of our sins, right? It’s done! Past, present, & future.

We all have said that many times before in the Church. We know the scriptures, yet we tend to believe that when we sin, it’s as if Jesus goes back to the cross to forgive us again. But as we said, sin has already been dealt with. That means that it’s no longer about our sin as born-again believers. Yet, the majority of Christians believe now that we’ve been forgiven, we have the power to not sin on our own and spend their life trying not to be a sinner. Because of this, they too put the same standard on others. We extend grace to those who haven’t received grace, but once received, we retract it— “well, now you’re not supposed to sin”.

However, because sin has been dealt with, we now have eternal life; “now this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”. Sin was dealt with so that the ultimate plan could be lived—- not just that we’d be in right standing with God, but so that God may dwell in us. So that coming to know Him and worshipping Him would happen from the inside-out. Now because of this, we’re not to be sin focused, but Christ in us focused. Focusing on our sin is self-centeredness, focusing on Christ in us is Christ-centered- ness. It’s saying, “you and I together can do this”.

Do what? you may ask. It’s simple yet complex at the same time; Kingdom Life! Our lives now as born-again believers are not about trying to not sin anymore. It’s about me and God, which results in His Kingdom come. We are now coming to know Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and learning how to walk in this newness of life- Kingdom Life. We’re coming to know what Father is doing, saying, and going in and through us. It’s not about our sin, it’s about Us-ness.

What if the reason Jesus, when He walked this earth apart from us, (sometimes)forgave people before He healed them wasn’t because he was showing us that forgiveness of sin was most important. But rather, He was showing us that once sin was dealt with (because He hadn’t accomplished that yet), an encounter with God would then point us to togetherness or us-ness (Jesus and I together). This will lead us to ultimately being healed from all things that have held us captive from moving forward in the Kingdom. Jesus didn’t just come to complete the work. He came to bring the Kingdom, to reveal the Father, and reveal the life we would soon be able to live by. It was always His plan that we’d do it together, and now Jesus has made that possible. Not so we’d spend the rest of our time here facing sin, but doing life with Him— and ultimately coming to know Him, His love, and His extravagance, leads to a life where we’re free from being a slave to sin.

"What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ " - Philippians 3:8

The great lie that Adam and Eve fell for is the same lie that so many both outside and even inside the Church fall for today. The lie that what the world/ruler of this world offers us is better than Jesus and His Kingdom. We truly believe it's the things of this world that we need to be happy and fulfilled. We actually buy into the lie that we want more for ourselves than God does. Many are deceived into thinking they will be better to themselves than God will be.

The tree of life was Jesus. Not just any form of life, but the life Jesus talks about in John 10:10. ZOE life. It's the very life of God. It's the highest level of living. It's abundant life. Yet they believed and made the decision that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil offered them more. What's amazing is the only thing they reaped from that tree was evil. They already knew good. In fact all they knew and lived in was the goodness of God in the garden. It was darkness that entered because of their choice.

The presence of Jesus and His Kingdom is better than anything. His love, goodness and provision is so much more satisfying than anything of this world. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, seek first the kingdom and all these things will be added to you. Jesus has made the provision for you to live a stress and worry free life, enjoying intimacy and fellowship with Him, and in this He will manifest all we need and more.

Father I pray right now you would make yourself so real to us. Strip away the desires of this world. Lead us to the place where we can truly say "to live is Christ". We declare you and your kingdom are so much better. Holy Spirit lead us into knowing Jesus greater and greater. Lead us to where we can proclaim what Paul said that everything is like garbage compared to knowing you. We choose you above everything. We choose Zoe life that you've made fully available to us. Thank you for your presence in us and life in your Kingdom. Thank you that we love you because you first loved us. Help us to grow in awareness of your love and goodness and yield to your life within us. Amen
