Choosing God’s Love Over Man’s Approval

In this portion of my Easter message “The Stone Has Been Rolled Back!”
I share the struggle of the heart; the fundamental choice & struggle between seeking approval from people, versus experiencing the love of God.

I explain that you cannot have both—when you’re “loved by God,” you become part of His kingdom, the bride of Christ, surrounded by God’s people.

However, if you prioritize being “liked” by people, you’ll never truly experience God’s love. I share how trying to please everybody is like spinning plates; when you attempt to make everyone happy, nobody ends up happy, and the person doing the spinning is the least happy of all.

Power in Surrender: Let God Carry Your Burdens

Oftentimes we spend most of our lives trying to hold ourselves up & secure our plans & futures ALONE.

Scripture invites us to SURRENDER the weight we were NEVER meant to carry by ourselves, teaching us to release our worries ONE prayer at a time.

SURRENDER doesn’t remove our burdens—it simply changes WHO carries them, allowing us to EXPERIENCE a quiet shift as we learn to TRUST God with our futures, outcomes, and fears.

Get Up, Pick Up Your Mat, & Walk: It’s Time to Move in Faith!

I wanted to wish everyone a blessed week! & Take a moment while at the pool with my kids to share a few thoughts from my message yesterday “It’s Time 2 Move!”

In it I shared the biblical story of the “Man at the Pool of Bethesda,” & how Jesus commanded him to “get up, pick up his mat, & walk. “

Today I would like to encourage you to “rise up, pick up your life, & walk in faith for God.”

Remember, “God doesn’t respond to feelings but to faith,” & answer the challenge to identify what area(s) of your life God is calling you to move in?

I also emphasized that God will move when you choose to move, first.

Isn’t it time to start moving so God can work through your life?

Stop waiting & start moving today!
