Blessings to all of you!
As we close out 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude for God’s faithfulness and the powerful movement of prayer throughout the Santa Maria Valley. No matter what surrounds us, we choose to rejoice, pray without ceasing, and trust Jesus !! Who has already overcome every darkness. With great expectation, we step into 2026 pursuing God with all our hearts, confident He is leading His people into even greater things 🙌

The Community of Prayer is thankful for all of God’s goodness to us, our families, and our community! Our prayer is that you also experience the real and transformational love of Christ in this season and into 2026. Jesus came so that we would have lives filled with Himself, because there is truly nothing that compares to His love and His presence in us and with us. We encourage you to “taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8) Peace, love, and joy to you all! 🕊️

The Santa Maria Valley Community of Prayer honors the life of our dear sister in Christ, Lisa Bodrogi, who passed away surrounded by her family on November 4th, 2025.

Lisa was a passionate follower of Christ Jesus. She loved inviting people into prayer and relationship with Jesus. Her persistence to seek the Lord and grow in her faith was inspiring.
Many of us have treasured memories of ministering with Lisa, working together to advance the Kingdom of God in our community and also, loving one another in the process. We will miss Lisa’s presence here on earth, but her eternal life with Christ is the reward of her faithful friendship with Him. “...Well done, good and faithful servant;...Enter into the joy of Your Lord.” Matthew 25:23 NKJV

Lisa fought the good fight, she finished the race and kept the faith. There is a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to her on that Day and all who have loved His appearing. (ll Timothy 4:7-8) We rejoice that our precious sister is now experiencing fullness of joy in the Lord’s Presence, where there are pleasures forevermore at His right hand. (Psalm 16:11)

Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at St. Louis de Montfort Church. Internment will follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery, original section.
