I do not really know how to say what's truly in my heart right now about the passing of my Pastor, Herbert W Watson Jr. 💔 He gave Maria and I premarital counseling, and was so honest and transparent with us about his own life, as he gave us a view from his past to help guide us for our future. He married us inside Maria's first home the day before we actually had our wedding ceremony on the Odyssey Cruise Ship in Washington, DC. He christened our daughter, Matyson, baptising her life to Jesus Christ, became her favorite person to hug after church every Sunday morning, and even traveled to watch her perform during Summer Dance Camps and Recitals. He even came and support me and took pictures when I was recognized in the community. As a kid growing up in Florida, I was born in the church, and was raised by preachers and teachers. When I moved to Maryland in 2004, God sent me to Pastor Watson, and allowed me as an adult to experience the hand of God on the life of his shepard. I watched and learned from his demeanor with the people. I participated in and was a benefit of his ministry, and I was so honored and touched when he asked Maria and I to lead his couples bible study to prepare for the Couples Weekend Retreat. There's so much that I can continue to say about the impact this man has made on my adult life. At the end of the day, I just want to say THANK YOU! ❤️
Mrs. Rochelle Watson, as we've shared with you and Pastor before, your marriage is the example that we've always looked to as a guide for over 14 years now, and it will be forever.
