My name is Jaspal Singh, and I have been a proud member of the San Jose Gurdwara community for more than 35 years. Over this time, I have been blessed to volunteer in many areas, including Khalsa School, langar seva, children’s camps, disaster fundraising, and also contributing funds toward the construction of our Gurdwara. Academically, I hold two Master’s degrees, one in Environmental Technologies and Management, and another in Astrophysics, along with several professional certifications. I currently serve in a senior management role at a technology company, bringing leadership and organizational experience. Additionally, over the last 20 years, I have hosted radio talk shows as a form of community service, helping to raise awareness and connect people.

If elected, I will bring my experience, dedication, and professional skills to improve Gurdwara affairs and serve the Sangat with integrity and commitment.

My name is Kulwant Kaur Chahal, and I have been blessed to live in San Jose for over 41 years. I hold a B.Sc. degree and have built a successful career as a Registered Nurse (RN). Beyond my profession, I have always dedicated myself to serving the community. I had the honor of serving as a Senior Citizen Commissioner for Health, Safety, and Housing for four years, where I worked to improve the lives of our elders and families.

With the Sikh Sangat, I actively participated in the long legal struggle to restore voting rights and the bylaws of our Gurdwara, ensuring transparency and fairness in governance. I am also closely involved in arranging cultural programs that highlight our rich Punjabi and Sikh heritage.

Guided by the Guru’s teachings, I firmly believe in standing for what is righteous and just. I have represented the Sangat as a speaker at San Jose City Hall in support of naming “Gurdwara Avenue” and successfully stood for the rights of our neighborhood community.

If elected, I will continue to focus on health, safety, and well-being initiatives for our Sangat, while serving with the same dedication, honesty, and commitment that has guided my life for decades.

My name is Baldev Singh Jandu, and I have been living in San Jose with my family for the past 45 years. By profession, I am a construction contractor, and with Waheguru’s blessings, I had the honor of leading the construction of the building extension at Gurdwara Sahib Fremont. Alongside my work, I have been actively involved in promoting Sikh community sports activities, because I believe sports are a powerful way to build brotherhood, discipline, and unity among our youth.

If elected, I plan to focus on Sikh community projects and to engage our younger generation in both sports and the path of Sikhi, so they remain connected to our values while growing as future leaders of the Panth.

My name is Raghubir Singh Dhillon, and I have been living in San Jose for the past 15 years. I come from a family that has made significant contributions to the Sangat, including the purchase of land for the Gurdwara, and I am the brother of Balbir Singh Dhillon.

By Waheguru’s grace, I strive to live as a Gursikh with a focus on naam japna and daswandh, always supporting the Gurdwara and Panthic causes. With a patric personality and a deep commitment to seva, I wish to continue my family’s tradition of dedication and service by contributing to the growth, unity, and spiritual strength of the San Jose Gurdwara Sahib.
