House of Refuge Deliverance A welcoming space for prayer, hearing the word, and spiritual healing. Our doors are open to you. They are born-again members of the invisible church.

The invisible church consists of those who have been redeemed and are truly Christians. They are
regenerated, born again, made new creatures, and are indwelt by God (John 14:23). They are the ones who
have trusted by faith alone in the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and have repented of their sins. They believe
in Jesus as God in the flesh (John 1:1, 14, Colossians 2:9) who died on the cross and

physically rose from the
dead as a payment for our sins. These people are the ones who have been justified by faith (Romans
3:28,5:1).

The 10 Commandments each have clear applications that have never changed. We are still not to make idols, murder, steal, or lie, for example. The New Testament sheds a brighter light on the deeper spiritual aspect of these laws. This spirit of the law has been there all along, but Jesus highlighted the need to understand the intent of the law and to go beyond the physical letter of the law. For example, He expanded on the Sixth and Seventh Commandments against murder and adultery in Matthew 5:21-30.
