It is exactly a year ago today when Fr Michael Brillantes left us to join the Lord. Please remember him in your prayers.

As we remember his life, his devotion to God and service to His people, we also remember one dream he left before he passed on - to set up an Arts Center for the youth in his hometown Tayum. From your financial gifts during his wake and funeral, we have been able to set up and register this center with the Philippine Security and Exchange Commission and organized short courses in painting, singing, guitar and bamboo flute playing during the last summer school break. On behalf of Fr Mike and his family, we would like to extend again our utmost thanks for your support and show of love during his wake and funeral.

Many students have been asking when we would resume the courses. However, our funds have been used up in the purchase of musical equipment, art paraphernalia and in conducting the courses. We are thus appealing to your generosity for donations to continue this advocacy.

We plan to resume the courses during the upcoming school break on March 31-July 19, 2024

Bamboo Flute playing is the latest course concluded at Fr Mike’s Memorial Arts Center FMMAC. Mr Gilbert Oliveros, a bamboo flute trainor who is actively promoting the art around the Philippines was invited to teach the children in Tayum. Please watch
