Since January this year, OCLife and its participants have participated in the San Diego Walk For
Life, held a "baby shower" fund raiser for local pregnancy resource centers, and held four
peaceful prayer vigils. The prayer vigils have been held at the only Planned Parenthood surgical
abortuary at its San Diego First and Grape Streets/2017 1st St. location.
On behalf of the Greater San Diego Pan-Orthodox community, OCLife is planning to hold a
prayer vigil at this same location every 2nd Saturday of every month (rain or shine) from 10am-
12pm. OCLife will seek to secure a volunteer Orthodox priest or deacon from the San Diego area
each time. OCLife ministry team members will provide the prayer materials, such as Moleben to
End Abortion prayer books and The Paraklesis Service: The Little Supplicatory Canon to the
Most Holy Theotokos.
As the promotions coordinator, working under OCLife's ministry leader Lorinda Fortuin, I am
humbly asking your participation to attend the next vigils on one or both of the upcoming
Saturdays, June 11 or July 9, and every 2nd Saturday for our 2nd Saturday Vigils, always to be
held at this same Planned Parenthood location. The faithful will all meet at the corner of First
and Grape, early at 9:30am, to organize and have the introductory blessing/prayer before we start
our main prayer services in front of the Planned Parenthood building at 10am.
Would you please come to join us on June 11 or July 9, or any 2nd Saturday Vigil?
I do hope that you will join us soon to help change the hearts of those seeking abortion and save
the lives of the unborn as other Pro-Life Warriors have.
