Saint Therese of Lisieux was gifted with the ability to take the riches of our Catholic faith and explain them in a way that a child could imitate. The wisdom she gleaned from Scripture ignited a love in her heart for her Lord that was personal and transforming. The simplicity of the faith that she laid out in her writings is so completely Catholic that Pope Pius XII said, “She rediscovered the Gospel itself, the very heart of the Gospel.”

Walking with Purpose is intended to be a means by which women can honestly share their spiritual struggles and embark on a journey that is refreshing to the soul...Our logo is a little flower, and that has meaning. When a woman begins to open her heart to God, it’s like the opening of a little flower. It can easily be bruised or crushed, and it must be treated with the greatest of care. Our desire is to speak to women’s hearts no matter where they are in life, baggage and all, and gently introduce truths that can change their lives. //Lisa Brenninkmeyer

The word conversion means "the act of turning." This means that conversion involves a turning away from one thing and a turning toward another.

Have you experienced a conversion of heart? Was it one distinct moment (like the conversion of St. Paul 🐎) or has it been a lifetime of little daily conversions? Share below! 

We celebrate the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul tomorrow (January 25). St. Paul, pray for us and all those in our lives whose conversion has not occurred yet. Amen!

Happy Epiphany Sunday!

The wise men saw the star and immediately set out...

✨They had no doubts: their unbounded faith was strong and sure.

✨They did not hesitate at the prospect of the trials of a long journey: they had generous hearts.

✨They did not postpone the journey: their souls were ready.

May we always follow the Lord with the same faith, promptness and gift of self.
