Time doesn’t fix this…

it doesn’t heal it,
it doesn’t take it away.

It just changes
how you carry it.

The pain is still there—
just as real,
just as deep,
just as present.

But instead of breaking down,
you learn how to hold it in.

You learn how to smile
when you don’t feel okay.

How to show up
when a part of you
is still stuck in the moment
everything changed.

You learn how to keep going…
even when your heart
never really moved forward.

Because some wounds
don’t close with time.

They don’t fade.
They don’t disappear.

You just learn
how to carry them quietly—

in a way that lets you survive…
even if it never truly lets you heal.

People want this to turn into something easier.

It doesn’t.

You just get better at carrying it.

At our 2026 Walk to Remember Remembrance Ceremony, we will honor babies by reading their names aloud and displaying them on our Remembrance Wall. Our hope is to ensure that every baby is acknowledged and remembered in a meaningful way.
✨ Name Reading at the Ceremony
Due to time limitations, baby names will be read during the ceremony for families who are present at the event and have registered.
🦋 Remembrance Wall
Even if you cannot attend in person, your baby's name can still be included on our Remembrance Wall, ensuring they are honored and remembered by our community.
📅 Important Deadlines
• Remembrance Wall deadline: April 11
• Ceremony name reading registration deadline: April 29
If you want to ensure your baby is honored—either by hearing their name read aloud or seeing it displayed on the wall—please be sure to complete the registration steps before the deadlines.

“Today I wrote a note to the mom of a 22-year-old girl who died. I wanted to say don’t believe those other cards. The ones that say “time heals” and “God only takes the best” and “may your sorrows be lessened.” You’ll only be disappointed.

I wanted to say this is the most heart-wrenching, chest-crushing, breath-stealing tragedy on earth.

I wanted to tell her there will be days she wants to die, and friends who will not understand some of the things she does or says.

I wanted to tell her she will still feel her daughter’s presence at times, sometimes so strongly that it is as if she is dancing just at the edge of whatever activity is going on. And other times she might not feel her presence at all.

I wanted to tell her that her life will not go back, that she will never be the same, because a piece of her left with her daughter.

And that even though the pain does not go away, somehow her soul will eventually make enough room so she can hold it all– the grief, the pain, the joy and the love.

I wanted to tell her… but I didn’t. Instead, I wrote— I’m sending love, for words are pointless right now.

And that is the truth.” — Susi Costello

Now believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, our annual Worldwide Candle Lighting unites bereaved families in remembrance of the children, grandchildren, and siblings who have died and will never be forgotten.

On December 14th at 7 pm local time, families gather to light candles and participate in a special memorial ceremony honoring their beloved child, grandchild, or sibling.

You’re invited to attend one of the hundred formal candle lighting events or participate in quiet remembrance alongside your family at home. Whether with others or in private, you’ll join thousands of families in creating a wave of light to remember the children forever loved and forever missed.
