Bereaved Parents of the USA - San Diego Chapter Meetings held 4th Thur of each month, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, except November and December, which will be the 3rd Thur. Meetings held at St.

Bartholomew's Church, Poway, CA. RSVP and message to 619-994-3010. The San Diego North Inland Chapter of Bereaved Parents of the USA, is a non-profit, self help, support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the death of a child, grandchild, or sibling. Facilitators for adult group and sibling group are Level 2 Certified Bereaved Facilitators. We are a part of a National O

rganization www.bereavedparentsusa.org with sister chapters across the USA. Time doesn’t fix this…

it doesn’t heal it,
it doesn’t take it away.

It just changes
how you carry it.

The pain is still there—
just as real,
just as deep,
just as present.

But instead of breaking down,
you learn how to hold it in.

You learn how to smile
when you don’t feel okay.

How to show up
when a part of you
is still stuck in the moment
everything changed.

You learn how to keep going…
even when your heart
never really moved forward.

Because some wounds
don’t close with time.

They don’t fade.
They don’t disappear.

You just learn
how to carry them quietly—

in a way that lets you survive…
even if it never truly lets you heal.
