The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
- Psalm 90:10
I recently celebrated my 70th birthday with family.
I took the opportunity to share the gospel.
I shared that life comes with crossroads where a decision is required to be made. Be careful and diligent when making those decisions because many will have lifelong consequences, and one has an eternal consequence.
For example:
When your at a crossroad about.
Buying a car = Temporary
Renting =Temporary.
Buying a house = Life long
Dating = Temporary
Marriage = Life long
Jesus Christ = Eternity
When you come to a crossroad, choose wisely
When that crossroad concerns Jesus Christ. Choose as if where you spend Eternity depends on it, because in this case, it does.
10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 Jesus is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone. 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Acts 4:10-12
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. - Romans 10:9-10
