Join us for Father’s Day service this Sunday!

God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and fatherhood is not something God became, it is who He has always been. God’s love did not begin when He created us. We were created out of the overflow of the Father’s love!

We will have a special bbq lunch, root beer, and of course some dad jokes from our Aloha dads!

Something we love about our church is that there is a part 1 & part 2 of our services!

Part 1 is where we meet inside the auditorium for worship & a teaching

& Part 2 is what we call “Stay Awhile” where we eat a meal in community all together!

It’s the best way to get connected, meet a new face, share your story, ask some questions, and feel seen and known in a space that can sometimes be hard to! We get that & that’s why we felt the Lord invite us into having 1 longer service.

We know it’s hard to meet new people - here’s some questions you can ask as you eat some yummy food made by our food team on the grass:
- what stood out to you in today’s message?
- what’s your favorite part of San Diego?
- what is something God is teaching you in this season?
- what’s one of your favorite hobbies?
- do you actually like spam?
- how can I be praying for you this week?

Maybe pick one of the above and ask someone it tomorrow!

We love ya & we can’t wait to stay awhile with you.

Pentecost was not just the arrival of spiritual power—it was the birth of a Spirit-filled community where the presence of God was experienced through friendship, stability, devotion, and love.

““When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. Hey guys, Pastor Dru here.

I thought I’d jump on here to share some exciting news… (although for me, it’s bittersweet.) Our beloved worship pastor, Michael Golden and his wife Ally will be helping plant with Joel & Darsha in OB!

Ten years ago I met a young man named Michael Golden. Little did I know God would bring us together to plant Aloha Church: It was me, Trish and Michael at the helm. Michael was pivotal in leading Aloha Church through the pandemic, helping make big decisions, and always bringing good laugh at staff meetings. He has fostered a supernatural atmosphere of worship on Sundays that will be greatly missed!!

His beautiful wife Ally, started our Groms ministry, was the first to raise her hand to be a part of Poolside (iykyk) and women’s ministry, and was instrumental in creating a prayer culture at the end of our services! She has also ran our social accounts and emails now for 4+ years!

We send our best when planting a new church, and these are truly our best, along with Joel and Darsha Aldous. While it’s bittersweet for all of us, we know God is the greatest Author of all things!

We are excited for what is ahead for the Golden family and have been blessed by their time with us! Join us this Sunday for their last service with us before they transition.

The wonderful will be filling the role as our worship leader - cheeehooo! (Stay tuned next week for more on this).
