Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we have finally cast aside the pesky confines of religion and have successfully evolved to the next level. Behold, Humanity 2.0.

"Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four hour days." -Zig Ziglar

Jesus teaches the importance of focus in the Sermon on the Mount when he tells us,

"Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow we'll worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble," (Matthew 6:34).

What Jesus is saying is that today matters! And the truth is that we're always stuck in today anyway. Tomorrow never really comes. It's always today. So there's tremendous power in focusing on the present when it comes to getting things done. There's even more power in the piece that passes all understanding which comes when we fully trust God with our todays as well as our tomorrows.

Just trust Him because He's trustworthy, trustworthy like you've never seen trustworthy before. Learn to know God's will and do it, and you'll never again lack direction. How, you ask, do we learn God's will and how to do it? By reading and studying God's Word, the Bible.

Happy reading! đź“–

In the final judgement, everything will ultimately be accounted for (look up and read: Romans 2:1-11; Romans 14:12; Hebrews 4:13; 1 Peter 4:5; Revelation 20:11-15). See also (Matthew 5:29-30; Matthew 12:36-37; Mark 16:16; John 3:14-21; John 5:24; John 10:11-30, especially verses 27-28).

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone sn**ch them out of My hand." -John 10:27-28

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal live through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

“He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16).

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God” (John 3:19-21).

My Unitarian friends want to say that "yes" Jesus is in us because that's what the Bible says, but at the same time they want to say that he's not "literally" in us, because God is in us and they say Jesus is not God. They want to say "yes" because that is what the Bible says (and they claim to believe the Bible), but they want to say "no" at the same time because that's not what they believe. So they twist Jesus being/dwelling in us to mean "we need to emulate Jesus and become like him." As is their standard procedure, Unitarians take parts of Scripture, reject other parts, and yet claim to believe and accept it all. Here, let's take a look at what the Word of God says about Jesus indwelling his people and see whether Unitarians are right or wrong about the God in us being the Lord Jesus Christ himself.

Regarding sin in the New Testament church, the biblical policy is crystal clear—no tolerance.

1 Corinthians 5:11: "But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person."

Verses 2b-5: "...that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

The fact that Jesus' messianic claims took His contemporaries by surprise because they were not at all what they were expecting and had been anticipating for centuries testifies to their truthfulness.

Preachers are Not Pastors:

We need more teachers and disciplers in the church, not preachers. We need preachers in the streets and out in the world preaching Jesus, the gospel, salvation from sin, and the coming judgement.

Preaching the Gospel:

A man talking about his thoughts from one or two verses of Scripture is not preaching the gospel? Preaching "come to Jesus" to believers who are already His disciples, born again children of God, is not what the church is called to do. These good and bad forms of "preaching" become substitutes for what we're supposed to be doing, which is making disciples who go out into the world and preach the gospel, all of us!

How in the world are we so far off?
