DRUUMM Village at UUA General Assembly 2026!
DRUUMM Village is a multiplatform gathering held alongside the UUA General Assembly 2026 — a space for BIPOC Unitarian Universalists and friends of DRUUMM to reconnect, ground spiritually, build relationships, and move through the GA together in community.
You do not need to register for UUA General Assembly to attend DRUUMM Village programs. All events are BIPOC only, free, and links to join will be shared with your RSVP at druumm.org/events

When the world feels heavy, and there are no easy answers, comfort often arrives in quieter ways. Not as solutions, but as presence. Not as certainty, but as care that stays.
In “Finding Comfort Through Song,” UUA Rev. Meg Barnhouse reflects on grief, love, and the ways people offer one another refuge simply by showing up. She reminds us that we do not have to fix suffering to accompany one another through it.
We are lifting up these words in memory of Meg—a storyteller, troubadour, clergy leader, and friend who once swore she would forever be a rebel in her heart, and who passed away earlier this month.

The name Sing Out Love continues the lineage of our UU hymnals: from Singing the Living Tradition to Singing the Journey to Las voces del camino. Sing Out Love orients us to this moment in the unfolding story of our faith.
In consultation with the Association for Unitarian Universalist Music Ministries (AUUMM), the UUA’s Virtual Hymnal Task Force has been at work since March 2023.
Our Vision: to build a living collection of song resources through an accessible, equitable, online platform grounded in UU values. This virtual hymnal will help Unitarian Universalism live into our prophetic calling as a joyful, liberatory, and anti-oppressive faith.

The DRUUMM Ca. Winter Retreat is here! It is January 30-February 1st @ UU Church of Davis, 27074 Patwin Road, Davis, Ca. 95616.
Friday, January 30, 6-9 PM Pacific - open to all
Saturday, January 31, 9 AM-5 PM Pacific - BIPOC-centered
Saturday, January 31, 5-8 PM (dinner) - open to all
Sunday, February 1, 10 AM-3 PM - open to all
We'll come together to build relationships, community, and knowledge. I sorely need these things now, how about you? It is also a time to dance, create music, celebrate and learn...
This will be a multi-tiered event. In one aspect, it will be a rare opportunity for California UU BIPOC individuals to build relationships, networks of support, and community. It is also a time to learn from others about how they've been able to survive and thrive, even in oppressive environments.
