We currently live in an ever-changing time. The world is in a state of chaos, and it is unfortunate to see so many people impacted by the Coronavirus. As well as how the virus has impacted countries and markets. Our new norm has us preparing to be sequestered or being sequestered in our homes. Hopefully all these measures are temporary, and calm will return soon.
God is with us in our struggles and because of our struggles God sent Jesus who reveals His solidarity with us (John 3:17). God asks us to do the same by sharing with our neighbors the love and joy we have in the loving presence of God (Matthew 24:14). Having a relationship with Jesus (Ephesians 3:17-19) calls for us to be as compassionate as our God is compassionate (Psalms 145). We're called to live our lives in Christ’s image and model love (1 Corinthians 13), caring for others, tending to the poor (Deuteronomy 15:7), widows and orphans (Exodus 22:22), those who are suffering or struggling (1 Peter 5:9-10), pain or hurt, to be like Jesus and love thy neighbor the way we would want them to love us (Mark 12:31).
“In the Lord our God! Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. ... Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength”
Matthew 6:25-34 tells us not to live our lives in fear, but to live our lives in faith, to be in constant prayer and to live our lives for Jesus. Continued prayers for you and your families during this time of faith.
