Young Catholics, we are here for you ❤️
We’ve been quiet on social media but active on the ground supporting our Parishes with events and gatherings throughout the Diocese. Check out some of those events we’ve accompanied our young people above ☺️

The Young Catholics team is smaller than previous years but faithful and mighty in prayer (and we have the support of MFI 😁). We are gearing up for a fruitful year to engage in a deeper way with you all.

We will posting more often with updates and till then here’s what’s coming up:

Two weeks ago, we said goodbye to another Ministry with Young Catholics team member, Berenice Villa💗🙏🏼

Berenice, know that you will be greatly missed and that we are so grateful for all the love, effort, and dedication you gave to the ministry during your time here. More than anything, we are grateful for the gift that YOU are to all those you encounter! The seeds you planted during your time here are so valuable and we’re so glad you followed God’s call to this ministry. May He continue to bless your steps as you enter into a new adventure in serving Him and His people🤍

Who is this convocation for?
✨Ministry leaders of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries (Including leadership teams).
✨Priests, Deacons, Religious, and Seminarians who accompany and serve young people in our parishes and schools.

What you can expect:

📖An introduction of the recently published USCCB National Pastoral Framework for Ministries with Youth and Young Adults given by Armando Cervantes, Director of Youth and Young Adults in the Diocese of Orange.

Dear young Catholics community, this is not a goodbye post. It’s a celebration of the experiences we have shared the past eight years.

After prayerful discernment, I have accepted Bishop Rojas’ invitation to join the new Diocesan Catholics Schools leadership team effective July 1. I embrace this opportunity with joy and a great sense of responsibility as I continue to respond to God’s call in my life.

As I embark on a new journey, I want to express my gratitude to each of you. Thank you for sharing the road with me and my team. It has been an honor to serve alongside you in minsitry. I am certain we will continue our collaboration in my new role.

Berenice, Lupita and Archie will continue to support you in your efforts to accompany the young people of your parish and college communities.
