I found this at a secular store on sale. When I went up to purchase it, the clerk said they were supposed to trash it, and gave it to me for free instead. He said he couldn’t bring himself to trash it if someone wanted it.

It struck me the other day, that without maybe realizing it, some people inadvertently are saying JESUS doesn’t know what He is talking about and/or got it all wrong.
That realization made my head explode 🤯!

In Matthew 16 Jesus says: (17) And Jesus answered him, “ Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
(18)And I tell you, you are Peter,and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
(19) I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Think about this: people out there are more or less saying, “no, Jesus, hell will and has prevailed against Your Church so I am going to start another church.”
They are saying, “I don’t trust You, and I know better than You!”

Jesus chose who he chose as his apostles to head his church….sinners! Even so, He knew hell would still not prevail.
Satan in all of his efforts, inside and out, would NOT destroy HIS church.

Let me tell you though, the efforts in trying to do so have been great. I mean, of course Satan is going to attack The Church Jesus established tenfold.

That just tells me I am in the right church. The one Jesus himself established. To abandon HIS church to start your own is calling Jesus a liar, saying I don’t trust You, and telling Him HE got it wrong.

Can you imagine telling Him that?
