A perfect reading for your ceremony

A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew
19:3-6

Some Pharisees approached Jesus, and tested him, saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife
for any cause whatever?”

He said in reply, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one fesh? So they are no longer two, but one fesh.

Therefore, what God has joined together, man must not separate.”

I would like to congratulate my cousin Daniel Sanchez and his bride Kristen on their marriage yesterday. This is the couple that got me started on the path to Officiating marriages. They asked me to marry them when they started planning, but they were bless to have a Catholic marriage. I was honored to be a part of the ceremony as a Groomsmen.
