๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‘๐„๐’๐“๐Ž๐‘๐€๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐Œ๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐’๐“๐‘๐˜ ... One limitation in current Christian inner-healing practices is that "love" becomes almost entirely psychological. Questions revolve around:

โ€ข Did your father love you?
โ€ข Did your mother affirm you?
โ€ข Can you receive love?
โ€ข Can you love yourself?

Those are important questions, but Scripture goes deeper. The Father's love is covenantal before it is emotional. He loved Israel because He entered into a covenant with her. He loves us because He brought us into the New Covenant through Christ. His love isnโ€™t built on our religious performance or even our feelings. It is rooted in His covenant faithfulness.

"๐–๐ž ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž, ๐›๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž ๐‡๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ." (๐Ÿ ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—)

That first love isnโ€™t merely affection. It is a covenant commitment. Love is the atmosphere of the Kingdom. Healing isnโ€™t about learning to feel better about ourselves (self-esteem). Healing is about learning to live again within the Father's covenant love. That immediately shifts everything.

Forgiveness is covenantal. Notice how forgiveness works. Deliverance is covenantal. The goal of deliverance isn't just to expel darkness. The goal is to restore covenant fellowship. Think about Adam. His greatest loss wasn't the garden. His greatest loss wasn't dominion. His greatest loss wasn't even innocence. His greatest loss was walking with God. Everything else flowed from that broken covenant relationship. Therefore, restoration should move people back toward what Adam lost and what Christ restored.

Many ministries rightly emphasize healing. Many emphasize deliverance. Others emphasize discipleship. All three must be woven together under a single biblical umbrella. Not simply healing. Not simply freedom. Not simply inner healing. But the restoration of sons and daughters to faithful covenant life with their Father, within the life of His ekklesia, for the advancement of His Kingdom.

๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‘๐„๐’๐“๐Ž๐‘๐€๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐Œ๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐’๐“๐‘๐˜ ... One limitation in current Christian inner-healing practices is that "love" becomes almost entirely psychological. Questions revolve around:

โ€ข Did your father love you?
โ€ข Did your mother affirm you?
โ€ข Can you receive love?
โ€ข Can you love yourself?

Those are important questions, but Scripture goes deeper. The Father's love is covenantal before it is emotional. He loved Israel because He entered into a covenant with her. He loves us because He brought us into the New Covenant through Christ. His love isnโ€™t built on our religious performance or even our feelings. It is rooted in His covenant faithfulness.

"๐–๐ž ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž, ๐›๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž ๐‡๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ." (๐Ÿ ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—)

That first love isnโ€™t merely affection. It is a covenant commitment. Love is the atmosphere of the Kingdom. Healing isnโ€™t about learning to feel better about ourselves (self-esteem). Healing is about learning to live again within the Father's covenant love. That immediately shifts everything.

Forgiveness is covenantal. Notice how forgiveness works.
