LAOS: A miraculous healing brought three families to Christ. Local officials fear the spread of the gospel.

On May 4, three families in one village accepted Christ, for a total of 13 new believers. The three families, who are related, decided to follow Jesus after one of the relatives experienced a miraculous healing following prayer from a pastor.

Do you know how you are a witness for Christ? If you were reading the ESV you wouldn't understand. We should search the scripture to verify what we are being told.

When I was finally, actually, saved 5 years ago I had many questions. Before, I had just took what people had said at face value and never researched more on the matter. But, I now wondered, how am I to be a witness for something that I wasn't there to actually physically witness? I used the ESV to try to find the answer. There wasn't a truly clear cut verse for me that explained how. Just that we are to be a witness.

You need to know how you are a witness. Because, it removes doubt that will most likely creep up in your mind. If you are actually put to the test against someone that will challenge how you are, that doubt will rear its ugly head. The ESV has removed most of the passage and made it less important. But, in my opinion, is the most important passage of scripture in all of the epistle of 1 John.

Compare the passage between the two versions and see for yourself. Removing the trinity, the witnesses in heaven? If the Holy Ghost lives within us, one of the three witnesses resides within us, and thus is the trustworthy witness of Christs death and resurrection. The KJV is the only translation that explains this.

**This is how we Christians are a trustworthy witness for Christs death and resurrection when we were not physically there at Golgatha and his tomb 2,000 years ago.**

BE IN THE WORD!!!!

Here is an example of replacing an easy commonly used word for a more difficult word. Is it wrong? No. But, do you know what a denarius is? I didn't, and had to look it up. It is about being relatable to the masses, in whatever language. To translate the kjv to another language they wouldn't have as hard of time translating penny verses denarius. I find it funny people call the KJV outdated and hard to understand.

I believe the LORD can use any of the modern translations to save a person. To be saved you have to believe the Gospel, and claim JESUS as your Lord and Savior. But, spiritual growth is hindered by many of the modern translations. They replace easy to understand words with more difficult, not common words. And, they have removed or not included certain parts of scripture I find to be important for spiritual growth. The following is an example. The KJV is much more in depth with the description of what Jesus is talking about, the love of your enemies. Because, many people might not realize any of this is needed for that beyond just praying for them. What would love actually look like to love your enemy? It looks like this...
