Scripture – Psalm 30:11–12 (NIV)
“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.”

Dear Friends,

There are seasons when life feels heavy, when prayers sound more like sighs and hope feels thin. David knew that place well. Psalm 30 doesn’t come from a mountaintop moment; it rises out of the valley. It begins with crying… but it ends with dancing.

Isn’t that just like God?

Only He can take what feels like mourning and gently, faithfully, turn it into movement again.
Only He can trade our sackcloth for joy.
Only He can rewrite a story that looked finished in grief and make it overflow with praise.

Notice something beautiful: David doesn’t say “I fixed myself.” He says, “You turned… You removed… You clothed.”

God does the turning.

Sometimes we try to manufacture joy or force strength. But real restoration isn’t self-made it’s God-given. He steps into our sorrow, lifts the weight, and wraps us in joy like a new garment.

And when He does?
Praise becomes inevitable.

Not forced.
Not fake.
Overflow.

Friend, if you’re walking through a hard chapter right now, this isn’t the end of your story. God is still working behind the scenes. Your mourning has an expiration date. Your night has a sunrise scheduled.

Joy is coming.
Dancing is coming.
A new song is coming.

So even before you see it fully, you can declare with confidence:

Still, I will praise.

Prayer

Father, thank You that You are the One who turns sorrow into joy. When my heart feels heavy, remind me that You are still working. Help me trust You in the waiting and praise You in every season. Clothe me with Your joy again, and let my life sing of Your faithfulness. Amen.

Reflection

Where has God already turned mourning into joy in your life before?
Take a moment to remember — and thank Him for it today.

With Unshakable Hope!

Every Good and Perfect Gift!

James 1:17 (NIV)

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

Life has a way of reminding us how quickly things can change. Circumstances shift, plans unravel, relationships are tested, and what once felt secure can suddenly feel uncertain. In moments like these, our hearts naturally search for something steady—something we can depend on when everything else feels fragile.

James gently points us to that unchanging source: our Heavenly Father.

Every good and perfect gift in our lives—hope, strength, forgiveness, provision, peace—flows from Him. Not from luck. Not from timing. Not from our own effort. These gifts come from above, from a God whose character never changes. While shadows move and seasons pass, God remains constant. His goodness is not affected by our circumstances, our failures, or our fears.

Sometimes we overlook the gifts God gives because they don’t always come wrapped the way we expect. A closed door may actually be protection. A delay may be divine preparation. Even in trials, God is still giving—shaping our faith, refining our hearts, and drawing us closer to Himself.

When life feels uncertain, James 1:17 reminds us to lift our eyes upward. To remember that the same God who has been faithful before will be faithful again. His goodness is not temporary. His grace does not run out. His love does not waver.

So today, no matter what you’re facing, take a moment to reflect on the gifts God has already placed in your life—and trust Him for the ones still to come.

Still, I will trust the Giver—even when the gift looks different than I imagined.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for being the source of every good and perfect gift in my life. When circumstances change and uncertainty rises, help me to remember that You remain the same. Open my eyes to see Your goodness, even in unexpected places. I choose to trust You today and always. Amen.

With Unshakable Hope,

Scott

An Inspirational Devotional by Still, I Will!Ministries:

God is not finished with you yet!

Dear Friend,

There are moments in life when the journey feels unfinished—because it is.

We look at our circumstances, our struggles, our setbacks, and we wonder if we’ve somehow fallen behind, missed something, or failed beyond repair. But Scripture speaks a powerful truth that steadies our hearts:

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

What a promise.

God does not abandon what He starts. He does not lose interest halfway through your story. He is not surprised by your pain, your delays, or your detours. The work He began in you—long before you recognized it—He is faithfully and patiently completing.

You may feel like you are in a season of waiting, refining, or rebuilding. You may feel stuck between what was and what will be. But this verse reminds us that the middle is not the end. God is still writing. Still shaping. Still redeeming.

Every trial you’ve endured has not disqualified you—it has deepened you. Every tear has been seen. Every prayer has been heard. And every step, even the painful ones, is being woven into a greater purpose than you can see right now.

So today, take heart.

If God is not finished, then neither is your hope.
If God is still working, then your story is still unfolding.
If God began this work, He will complete it—faithfully, lovingly, and perfectly.

Still, I will trust.
Still, I will hope.
Still, I will believe—because God is not finished with me yet.

🎄 Still, I Will Ministries — A Christmas Devotional

Hope Has Come!

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

Christmas is often wrapped in lights, music, and tradition—but at its heart is a miracle born in the middle of hardship. Jesus did not enter the world through comfort or applause. He came quietly, humbly, in a stable, to a weary world longing for hope.

That truth matters—especially when life feels heavy.

You may be walking into this Christmas carrying grief, uncertainty, illness, financial strain, or unanswered prayers. The story of Christmas reminds us that God does not wait for perfect conditions to show up. He enters the mess. He steps into the darkness. He brings light where it is needed most.

The manger tells us this powerful truth: God is with us—right here, right now.
Not after the pain passes.
Not once everything is resolved.
But in the middle of it.

Because of Jesus, we can say with confidence:
Still, I will hope.
Still, I will trust.
Still, I will believe.

Hope has a name—and His name is Jesus.

Prayer

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for coming into this world as our Savior and our hope. When my heart feels weary and my circumstances feel uncertain, remind me that You are Emmanuel—God with us. Help me to trust You with what I cannot control and to rest in Your promises. Fill my heart with Your peace this Christmas and renew my hope through Your presence.
Amen.

Reflection
• Where do I most need God’s hope this Christmas season?
• How does knowing that Jesus entered the world in humility change the way I view my own struggles?
• What does it look like for me to declare, “Still, I will trust God,” today?

Closing Blessing
May the peace of Christ guard your heart,
May the light of His love shine in your darkness,
And may you experience the unshakable hope of Jesus—
this Christmas and always.

Merry Christmas dear friends!

Still I Will Devotional : Perfect Peace

Dear Friends,

During the Christmas season we often hear people pray and sing songs that yearn for peace on earth and good will toward men. In the world we live in today, I know that it is hard to believe that true peace can really be found. We question, does it even exist?

But there is hope! There is a kind of peace this world cannot manufacture. It isn’t found in a quiet room, a perfect day, or the absence of problems. The peace Isaiah speaks of—perfect peace—is a supernatural calm that roots itself deep within our souls. It does not rise and fall with our circumstances. It doesn’t depend on whether life makes sense or people behave or prayers are answered exactly as we’d hoped.

Perfect peace comes from a steadfast mind—a mind fixed on the unchanging character of God.

We live in a culture that pulls our attention in a hundred directions. Worry whispers, fear shouts, and anxiety tries to take the lead. But the promise of Isaiah 26:3 reminds us:

Peace is not found in trying harder—it is found in trusting deeper.

When our minds drift toward the “what ifs,” God invites us to anchor our thoughts in the “even ifs.”
• Even if I don’t see the whole picture—God is still faithful.
• Even if this season feels heavy—God is still near.
• Even if I don’t understand—God is still in control.

A steadfast mind is not a perfect mind. It is a mind that, again and again, chooses to return to God. Every time anxiety rises, we redirect our thoughts to His goodness, His sovereignty, His unfailing love. And every time we do, peace rushes in like a river—steady, deep, and unwavering.

Friend, God promises to keep you in that peace. You don’t have to chase it. You don’t have to earn it.
Just trust Him. Fix your mind on Him. Lean into His presence today.

And where your thoughts rest, your heart will follow.

A Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for the gift of perfect peace. When my mind feels scattered and my heart grows weary, steady me. Fix my thoughts on Your truth and draw me into a deeper trust. Keep me in Your peace today—one that the world cannot give and cannot take away. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection Question

Where is your mind resting today—on the storm or on the Savior?
What is one truth about God you can fix your thoughts on this week?

With Unshakable Hope!

Scripture:

Ephesians 3:20 — “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” (NIV)

There are moments in life when our dreams seem too small, our faith feels too fragile, and our prayers sound too impossible for God to actually answer. We look at our circumstances and think, “This is as good as it gets.” But Ephesians 3:20 calls us to lift our eyes higher and stretch our faith farther

God is not limited by what we can picture in our minds.

He is not restricted by what we think is possible.

He does not operate only within the boundaries of what we can achieve.

Scripture tells us His power is immeasurable.

His ways are beyond imagination.

And His work in our lives is already in motion — “according to His power that is at work within us.”

Maybe you’ve felt like your story hit a ceiling…

Maybe you’ve dared to pray, but only within safe limits…

Maybe hope has been chipped away by disappointment…

But God says:

Dream bigger. Ask boldly. Trust deeper.

Not because of who we are…

But because of Who He is

He is a God who:

• Restores what was broken

• Redeems what was lost

• Rewrites what seemed finished

• Renews what was fading

• Surprises us with grace upon grace

We worship the God of “more than.”

— More than the doctor’s report

— More than the financial stress

— More than the relational pain

— More than your past, your fear, or your limitations

If God can raise the dead, restore sight, calm storms, move mountains, and save sinners like us — imagine what He can do in and through your life when His power is at work inside you.

So today, anchor your heart in this promise:

God’s capacity far exceeds your imagination.

Because with Jesus…

your story is still being written,

and the best chapters have yet to unfold.

Reflection:

What have you stopped praying for because it seemed impossible?

What dream needs to be surrendered back into God’s capable hands?

Ask God to expand your faith — and then trust Him to do more than you could even imagine!.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your power is at work in me. When I feel limited or afraid, remind me that You are the God of “immeasurably more.” Expand my faith. Renew my hope. Give me courage to ask boldly and trust confidently. Do more than I could ever imagine — for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
