DESCENDING DOVE MINISTRIES

“It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. Mark 1:9-11

Descending Dove Ministry was established ‘as a reminder’ ministry of the Ordaining, Empowering, and Equipping of Christ Jesus’

baptism by John, and the evidence of the Heavens rending, and the Holy Spirit ‘descending’ like a ‘dove’, to start Jesus’ earthly ministry. The ‘Ordainment’ was ‘the Voice’ from Heaven saying, “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”; the Empowering and Equipping was the Holy Spirit that ‘descended’ and “John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and ‘He REMAINED upon Him’.”(John 1:32). Our ‘commissioning’ is Jesus’ commissioning that He gave everyone, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ‘teaching them’ to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Descending Dove Ministries can be described as a ‘One Another’ ministry; as we ‘put into action’ the Grace, Mercy, Peace, and Love that Jesus taught us IN His Word. As a ‘Come Along Side’ ministry, we ‘help’ in any way we can other ministries, bodies of Christ, and supporting and encouraging His leadership among the brethren, (spiritual or physical)! Our goal is to KEEP the Oneness of Christ’s body together, in one accord; dedicated to getting the Word, and word of repentance out to the Nation.
