Free Methodist World Missions gives thanks for the life and faithful service of former missionary Jessie Yardy. Jessie passed away on September 10 at the age of 104. She and her husband, Dr. Paul Yardy, served in Creative Access-IN from 1948 to 1965, where they launched a hospital with a few crates of medicine and equipment. Today the hospital is a flourishing institution of healing and education. After twenty years back in the U.S., they returned to the field and served in Rwanda from 1985 to 1989. A memorial service will be held at the Mattis Avenue Free Methodist Church in Champaign, Illinois, on Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the hospital's 75th Anniversary Documentary. https://www.renner-wikoffchapel.com/obituaries/jessie-yardy
