Memorial Day Program 2026. An amazingly beautiful day to remember our fallen. Audra Johnson was our Poppy Princess and set some big shoes to fill for next years Princess ❤️

Many hands make for light work. With the pine tree producing a bumber crop of pinecones this year, we helped out our lawn mowing man by picking them up for him.

New Home Cemetery is looking for someone to join in the tradition of Poppy Princess at our 2026 Memorial Day Program on May 25. Miss Clarey and Miss Bernie have set the bar high ❤️

The duty of the Poppy Princess is to hand out poppies (usually a monetary donation is given) before our Memorial Day program . . . Oh, and look adorable.

Miss Clarey Tretsven will be our Poppy Princess for our Memorial Day program 2025! She has her great grandparents Russ and Dee Baker, and her Great Aunt Teddi and Uncle Bill at our cemetery. She will have the red poppies available for a donation, so bring your cash.

Wow! What great kids our community is raising! SCF High School sent out some of their youth on their Community Service Day to help with our little cemetery. The students filled in sinking graves, reseeded, set stones, helped locate cemetery corners and raked up pinecones. Nice work kids! And thank you to SCF High School.
