I found this in the "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" by Deepak Chopra. In the 4th Law, The Law of Least Effort, Deepak talks about when we resist trying to control people, places & things and the amount of energy that's wasted on having to be right, or prove our point. Instead, he says to get out of ego, relinquishing the need to be right. To be present in the moment with acceptance, responsibility & defenselessness. Obviously, he doesn't mean to become a doormat. But maybe to practice more pause & reflect on the importance of the moment and extract the lesson. It also reminds me of having "Two ears & One mouth" and the idea of listening twice as much as we speak & we might learn something. 🙌 Stay well
