Bethel AME Church Reno-Sparks continues our study of Psalm 23, focusing this week on verses 3-4.
In this season of change and uncertainty, when the world feels chaotic, God wants you to know—you are not alone!
This message is for someone—maybe it’s you.
Though it may feel like God has abandoned you, He has NOT. He is carrying you. He has set you apart to heal you and to bring you a freedom you haven’t felt in a long time.
The Lord says: Rest, rest, rest. Meditate on Psalm 23. He is preparing you for Kingdom work—the work you were truly called to do! Don’t focus on the schemes of people or your present situation. Look to Him—the Author and Finisher of your faith, the Bishop of your soul. He is your Shepherd—you lack nothing now or ever. Hold on to this truth.
It’s God’s plan, not yours. Yes, you feel pruned and wounded because He knows you can handle it. He prunes those He plans to grow. Though pruning is painful, when God finishes His good work, you’ll witness growth beyond imagination.
You are not alone. He is right here with you. Be still and know that the Lord is with you.
