Making positive choices is always going to start with recognizing what brings you personal joy – that old “follow your bliss” stuff. Yep…it’s still the path to personal truth. You can spend a lot of time focusing on what is wrong with your life, what got you there, what influences were bad and which were the good ones. But the proof is in the pudding – it is inside of you and you do know what “good” feels like. All the rest is just the “experience” you chose to realize that.
Moving towards what you really want to accomplish is always a good feeling; it promotes confidence and joy. It is not the same as the feeling that you “should” do a particular thing. There could of course be a moment when you have to do something you don’t particularly like to or want to do to reach a goal…but you do want to reach the goal. So a part of you actually wants, and will tolerate, a little effort that might not seem like the beeline you would prefer. But the important thing is that you are still on target – you are utilizing your consciousness, and therefore the available possibilities, to move through any barriers you might be encountering. Focusing on a/the goal makes it possible to w**d out choices, helping you move forward in a direction that brings satisfaction and joy. What is blocking that will show up…and make choosing what is supportive easier!
It’s a good thing that we are all about making the right choices for ourselves now. As individuals, we are all a part of the massive transition that is taking place at this moment. The decisions that we make for ourselves, the choices that move us towards a happy and fulfilling life, will ultimately be part of the happy human base of mass consciousness for building the world we actually want to live in! It does take courage to live a joyful life – especially through the tragic events we see unfolding around us everywhere. But if we allow ourselves to move in the direction of where our joys lie, we will be contributing to the sustainability and manifestation of the world we truly wish to inhabit. Inside of each of us is a similar purpose that we each came here to enact. We are not as confused as it might appear.
In the inspirational words of French writer Andre Gide: “Know that joy is rarer, more difficult, and more beautiful than sadness. Once you make this all-important discovery, you must embrace joy as a moral obligation.”
I couldn’t agree more.Cheers everyone. And as always - Thank you for caring.
