She is the daughter of Rev. Nancy Ross and (the late) Paul Ross Sr. She is the youngest child of 5 and mother to her 26-year-old son Jerell. Rev. Ross is the proud grandmother of a beautiful baby girl, Miss Kaneiya. Growing up in the church, Rev. Ross always knew there was a call of the Lord on her life. At the age of 17 during a fall revival, a visiting Prophet (Prophet Todd Hall) would confirm w
hat she knew, as he prophesied that she was destined to be an evangelist and a prophet to the nations. Prophetess Janet Floyd also prophesied the same word over her life years later. Known for her charismatic, caring, energetic and humble nature while attending college, she joined the prestigious Alpha Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, in the Fall of 1999. Upon graduating from college, she went on to work professionally as a Mental Health Case Manager for adults and children in the city of Durham, NC. While working, the Lord continued to send confirmation to her concerning her destiny. She delivered her initial sermon on April 27, 2014. Reverend Ross graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Community Health Education in 2001. She also graduated from Shaw University Divinity School with a Master of Divinity degree on May 11, 2019. She remained on the Dean’s List her entire enrollment. She is a recipient of the Presidential Award and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success for the Shaw University Chapter. She is the former Executive Secretary Treasurer of the Woman’s Baptist Home & Foreign Missionary Convention of NC, an auxiliary to the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Inc. where she also served as a
Certified Institute Instructor. Reverend Ross also served on the Board of Trustees for Shaw University as a member of the Committee on Institutional Advancement and Student Affairs. In October of 2020 Rev. Ross started her own business. She is the Owner and CEO of TLRMinistries, LLC. The organization is committed to serving the local community and the State of NC through the service of missions. The organization seeks to assist in meeting the needs of the homeless population, persons displaced due to domestic violence, loss of income, employment, natural disasters, and unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, Rev. Ross serves as an Associate Minister at First Calvary Baptist Church in Durham, NC where Fredrick A. Davis is Pastor. Ross is an emerging voice for the Kingdom of God, for such a time as this. She is a spiritual thought leader who has been called to help transform the lives of God’s people. She is committed to the restoration of families, and communities, locally, nationally, and globally. Her favorite Bible scripture is (John 8:58) when Jesus was being questioned by the Jews; they said, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
