As I prayed for guidance on today's message, Psalm 100 in the King James Version of the Bible resonated deeply with me. I've included the text below. Although the author is unknown, this profound psalm of thanksgiving encourages us to worship God with heartfelt joy, praise, and gratitude. It beautifully reminds us that "the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations". How grateful are you today for the Lord's infinite grace and mercy? I find it difficult to imagine life without experiencing this. Can you? Amidst our busy lives, we often overlook our blessings. Take time to appreciate them in the coming days as we celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday.🫶 Shalom, Melissa A Roberson

PSALM 100 (KJV)
1. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

The saying "God never allows pain without a purpose" is widely recognized. While there isn't a direct Bible verse that explicitly states this, it is closely tied to Philippians 1:29, Isaiah 66:9, and James 1:2-4. Philippians 1:29 suggests that suffering for Christ is an integral part of the Christian faith, implying that pain has a divine purpose for believers. In Isaiah 66:9, God uses childbirth as a metaphor to illustrate that pain precedes new birth, indicating purpose and hope during difficult times. James 1:2-4 encourages believers to view trials as opportunities for spiritual growth, developing perseverance and maturity. Based on these verses, it's clear that suffering can lead to positive outcomes. Do you consider your battles to be joyous? 🫶Shalom, Melissa A Roberson
