Many people seek Jesus for what He can give rather than for who He is. The crowd chased bread, but Jesus offers Himself.

To eat the bread of life is to believe in Jesus, trust His sacrifice, and abide in Him by faith!

Jesus’ signs are never the destination. They are invitations to know Him more deeply and trust Him more fully.

May our focus shift from what we want Jesus to provide to who Jesus has revealed Himself to be!

Today in John 6 we saw Jesus reveal His power over lack, over little, and over the storm. The feeding of the 5,000 and the walk on the sea both point beyond the miracles themselves to the identity of Jesus...the provider, sustainer, Savior, and the great “I AM”!

Is Jesus an addition to your life, or the center of it?

The real Jesus cannot be reduced to a useful part of life. He is Lord over every part of it!

New Podcast Alert!

In this week’s story, Pastor Jeff sits down with Dr. Jon Kelly — Lead Pastor of Chicago West Bible Church, husband to Danielle, and father of three sons. Jon was born in Chicago and raised in Philadelphia. He’s a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton College, and holds a doctorate in Global Missions from Southern Theological Seminary.

But what makes Jon’s story remarkable isn’t just his credentials — it’s the road he traveled to get here. As someone formerly incarcerated, Jon’s journey is a testament to the redemptive power of God. God had other plans for Jon Kelly. And today, he tells us about them.

This Memorial Day, we honor those who have given their lives in service and remember the depth of sacrificial love. May we reflect with gratitude and live with purpose!

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13

Everybody has an opinion about Jesus, but John 5 forces us to deal with who Jesus actually claims to be: the divine Son who gives life, executes judgment, and deserves the same honor as the Father.

Today we walked through John 5:18–47 and saw why Jesus is not someone you reduce, reshape, or merely admire, but the Savior and Lord you must receive.

The off-ramp can look pretty tempting, but finishing the race requires remaining in Him.

We have not yet seen the fullness of what Jesus intends to do in us!

New Podcast Alert!

In today’s story, Pastor Jeff sits down with Dr. Lina Abujamra — a physician, an author, and a speaker who grew up in Lebanon, where she came to faith in Jesus Christ, before coming to the States to study medicine. The Lord has given her a platform that has encouraged countless people to follow Jesus — and today she shares some of that story with us. They also touch on a topic close to Lina’s heart: women serving in ministry, and what that can look like in the local church. However you found this podcast today, we think you’ll be glad you stayed for this one.
