Schroeder Farm God has brought our blended family together and restored so much within us. By Faith in Him we are growing and restoring the family farm.

Our vision is that God would use us and the renewing of the farm for His glory.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Integrity is something our family values immensely. Lying is not option and we trust your words will follow with your actions.

God cares even about the smallest things. Not only does He trust us with money but also with the hearts of others, our words and our possessions. If we are not able to be trusted with the heart of a friend, it’s not likely we will have a close circle we can share our life with. If you never take care of the things you own eventually you’ll need to replace those things prematurely or you simply will go without it.

Are you faithful with even the smallest things in life? God cares about the big things and the smallest things.. even how you treat that cashier at the store or restaurant.

Be on the lookout today for those tests! Take care in your thoughts, words & actions.

Love God, Love People. That’s it.

‭‭ “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him..”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If I am being honest, my heart doesn’t always seek God. There are times when my thoughts are consumed with the busyness of a schedule I created and suddenly I realize how distant I have been from the one who calms my soul.

My guess is that most who read this can relate at one point or another.

The truth is we are all imperfect people. On the days when I am seeking God, intentionally reading His word and drinking from the spring of life He has provided, my heart is closer to Him and my desire is different.

All the days of my life I want to choose faithfulness and my heart desires to be set on Him. This natural draw is like a magnetic pull but when my heart is set on my own self, I start to feel this battle within me that causes chaos that I can’t explain.

God is seeking the ones who are fully committed to Him. Not on the fence. Not one foot in and one foot out.

All in.

I’m praying you would commit your heart today and everyday to what Gods desires are for you. 💜H

This past weekend we had a group of friends over for dinner. BBQ… a small fire.. so simple yet so filling for my soul.

A few years ago we decided to grow our farm. We heard a lot of questions like— “are you sure you want to do this?! It’s a lot of work..”

Initially those comments felt a bit discouraging but as I was reflecting this morning I began to think about our “why” behind our decision. Of course there was the obvious love for animals that I have always had, but it’s much deeper than that. We wanted to create a space where people can come and enjoy Gods handiwork. We wanted to provide food for our family that we felt confident in. We wanted to honor Gods creation in as many ways as we could.

So, here’s my question for you. What is your why? How does your why bring value to others lives? If we simply focus on what we can get out of the situation, burn out happens quickly and we no longer enjoy what we are doing..

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

“…All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.””
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Humility shows itself in many different ways. We see many scriptures that warn against being prideful and to choose to be humble. But what does it look like to be humble?

Sometimes being humble is simply accepting the circumstances you are in right away instead of reacting with emotions. It’s so easy to make a decision, see the outcome and immediately feel regret. Or in other instances things that are out of our control leave us in a pool of emotions.. Walking in humility is trusting God so much with your life that you don’t react to circumstances, you know that He is working them all for good. You adjust. You process with a good attitude. You let God handle the details.

Learning to be clothed with humility takes time but it is possible with Gods help!

Praying for you today.

“What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? [Ps 118:6] He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Just a quick reminder that God is for you.

Trust Him and allow Him to have control.

Keep your focus on Him!
