MIDWEEK RECAP 📝
We continued our series, ROBBED, and Sunday’s message, “The Cycle,” reminded us that poverty isn’t just about money—it’s any area of our lives where we’re living beneath what God intended.
Genesis 3:6-7
From the beginning, God’s system has always been fullness, provision, and life first… then purpose and responsibility. He desires for us to live from Him, not just for Him.
Three signs that The Cycle of poverty has entered your life:
👀 Distorted Perspective – Genesis 3:7 their eyes were open but not opened to God. (Only thing that changed was their perspective.) Don’t let the enemy make you forget how good God has been.
🪡 Overcompensating – Stop striving to fill what only God can provide. (Poverty makes you spend your life trying to compensate for what you don’t have. )
🌱 Survival Over Works – God never called you to live in survival mode. (What once worked naturally now requires toil)
One of the most powerful moments of the message was this:
Even after the fall, God came looking for them. (Genesis 3:8) 🙌🏾 and God will come looking for you too!!
The cycle of poverty causes people to hide, but God is calling you back to fullness.
