On behalf of Dr. Luther Barnes and the NC Fall Gospel Classic, we extend our heartfelt condolences to our dear friend and longtime supporter, Ms. Linda Richardson.

Ms. Richardson was an integral part of the NC Fall Gospel Classic and a treasured member of our extended family. Year after year, her unwavering dedication, steadfast support, and joyful spirit helped make the Classic the meaningful and impactful event that so many have come to cherish. As a devoted member of the NC Fall Gospel Choir, her voice uplifted audiences and set the tone for worship, excellence, and unity. Beyond her musical contributions, Ms. Richardson faithfully served as an Ambassador for the Classic, passionately sharing its mission and inviting others to be part of something greater than themselves.

Her commitment was never about recognition, but about service—service to the music, the ministry, and the community the Classic represents. Her legacy will forever be woven into the foundation and continued success of the NC Fall Gospel Classic. We are profoundly grateful for her life, her love, and the lasting imprint she leaves on our hearts.

Please know that our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with the Richardson family during this time. Ms. Richardson’s light will continue to shine through the work she so faithfully supported and the lives she so deeply touched.
